I'm honest, i also wasn't into the first episode that much. I'm also not a fan of Isagi. His character was too flat for me (and still is xD). But i gave the next episodes a try and it got better with every episode. The side/supporting characters are more of a reason for me to watch the show. The animation is horrible in the matches due to CGI NPC like characters, but the story of the characters, the voiceacting, one of the OSTs and the manga kept me going. The only other sports anime i really like is Kuroko no Basket, i usually don't watch them. But even if you don't like the start, i can promise you it will get a lot better over time.

I trust that. I really like the animation and the show itself is very different from other 'sports' anime. As I mentioned would look at this show not like a sports anime but a shounen. I liked kuroko for its flashy shit😂. The whole zone sequence was crazy and it had endearing characters. But, but, as a personal preference, I like something a bit more grounded like haikyuu😂. There was another salaryman show for badminton, you should check it out. It's fun ~Pramit

@@ZanyAnimeReacts Yes, true - soccer/teamwork and techniques are definitely not the main focus here sometimes. My most liked comment on youtube video for Kuroko no Basket is still: "They made a basketball game look like they fight for the future of the earth" XD Yes Kurokos insane passes with 200km/h speed looked insane. I recently made a really cool drawing, sad that i can't show you. If you remember the name of the show let me know. Since i finished Durarara, i have plenty of time again.

I appreciate the animation here and the innovative concept but like Pramit said, I also prefer something more grounded like Haikyuu or Ao Ashi. I also really loved Salaryman's Club, they made badminton hella exciting. You see these guys going to work and then battling it out against other companies lol I could not get into Kuroko No Basket because all moves felt like attacks instead of playing basketball. I think I saw a clip where a guy ran past another and suddenly the other guy twisted his ankle and fell? Wtf was that. NOBODY TOUCHED YOU. And what's with nobody ever noticing the shorty with the light blue hair? He's not INVISIBLE!!! 🤣🤣🤣 It can be funny at first but after a while it's like you have a ninja on the court and everywhere else and everyone is like "ok great, we'll use the guy that for some reason has no presence at all. If we can't see him, nobody else can either. Win win." And I'm here like "um, at some point the trope HAS to stop!!" I couldn't deal. I just couldn't. I felt the same about Ace of Diamond. It's been too long for me to remember if this was the same reason I didn't care for Prince of Tennis... Anyway, point is, if the animated sport looks too often like a panel on a manga then I'm gonna say, Thank you, NEXT!!!! 🤣🤣 ~ Vero ~

@@ZanyAnimeReacts Salarymans Club, okay :D i will check this out!!! Sounds definitely hilarious the way you discribe it. I mean, since it's anime i don't expect it to be realistic, even not Sports anime xD I thought it was pretty funny when Kuroko appeared out of nowhere, i always laughed so hard. Of course he can always stay in the blind spot of the enemies until he appears, but you are right, they overdid it a little bit 😂 I guess you mean Akashi, the red haired one. He has the "emperor eye" and an IQ of over 200. He can move back and forward in such a unique way, that his enemies begin to stumble because he change directions the way they can't hold their balance. It's pretty much possible to do that in sports, but yes, the way he makes them fall completely every single time was TOTALLY ridiculous :D They were gasing them up like super-power wielders. But i guess i got used to it at some point and thought - yeah - it's anime. I'm honest, i didn't like the first 2 episodes Haikyuu at all. I guess the guys were a bit too young and childish for me. Maybe it wasn't enough hype for me like in Kuroko no Basket, where everyone goes super badass here and then, like Aomine. And also maybe also because i hated volleyball at middleschool and didn't like the character design much. But i have to say, in Blue Lock there will also be very unrealistic situations if you don't like that 😂😂😂 Later there will be (season 2 or 3) EYE POWER abilities. Like the sharingan in Naruto, but for soccer 😆 It will be like a Shounen type ability to "activate". I just wanna warn you, they can also "smell" goals. I always need to laugh. They will also "awaken" and get into different "modes". So, you won't escape the unrealistic parts of Kuroko no Basket here at all xD
