TBH we are and should be the best team in the league and Thornton stated that 🌎 📷 🎥 i mean he is right.. on paper and in alot of games they proved that.. I don't see anybody beating them and other teams should be very afraid specially if these guys are healthy and turns it up to another different level we have not seen this year.. and Coach Kevin says it every week that they are preparing to clean up the errors and room for improvment.. thats scary if these players are cemented that in there craft.. we will be a dangerous team on the Road and defiantly at home.. and I pray if we make it out of the second round.. I hope its a seed behind us so they can play here downtown Cleveland OHIo at First Energy Stadium 🏟 oh man what would that be a sight to see.. Fascinating analysis, I learned some things. The skill that good QBs have is amazing especially since they are standing at field level and obviously don't have the advantage of seeing the field from above as in the video. I like your comment about less skilled QBs running all over the place looking for an open receiver when they should have analyzed the defense and gotten the ball out like Flacco is able to do due to his years of experience. I remember John Elway saying in an interview that it takes a lot of years to be able to read defenses well --- just in time for most QBs physical abilities to have declined due to age and injuries.

Flacco became inconsistent in his final seasons in baltimore, relatively ineffective in Denver (probably an overall team issue) and the jets (same as Denver) he hadn't shown any flashes of his old self in years, probably why. I'm a big fan of Flacco, he did a lot for Baltimore, I'm glad he's doing well
@henlo191011 ай бұрын
Flacco definitely fell off after he got his big time contract with the Ravens, it happened gradually but by the end of his time in Baltimore he just seemed like he didn't care and wasn't giving much effort. That's what it seemed like to me as a fan, at the time, take it with a grain of salt. I think at that point in his career he just wasn't feeling it for whatever reason. I'm happy for him that he got back into the game. Playing for the Jets, where QBs go to die, probably gave him a wakeup call and now he is having a career resurgence and is having a good time again, showing off his skills, and playing for a competitive team which is great to see.
@BrianJones-cu2sx11 ай бұрын
@@henlo1910the only good supporting cast Flacco played with post Super Bowl was in 2014 when Kubiak was calling plays. That was Joe’s best year statistically. The Denver job opened up, that was Kubiaks dream job so he took it. Our team went down hill when we brought in Juan Castillo as the O line coach / run game coordinator and Trestman as the OC. What was once a power run team that not only controlled the clock, but Joe could rip it down field and keep the defense on their heels.. that turned into a zone run scheme which really shrunk the field. Trestmans offense was predicated on the screen game and outside runs. Just not not effective.. not to mention wasn’t conducive to Joes skillset. That kind of exposed our defense and boom. We’re not good. I’m a big Harbaugh guy but I think he failed to put his players in positions to succeed post 2014. We got smaller, weaker, and slower across the board. We went from Matt Birk to Jeremy Zuttah. We went from Bryant McKinnie to Eugene Monroe. We went from Anquan Boldin to Tandon Doss… In my opinion.. the emphasis the Ravens brass put on *not* having another Super Bowl hangover was ultimately THE reason for their Super Bowl hangover. Ozzies philosophical shift after 2013 really brought the organization down.. And no, none of this was because of Flaccos contract. If I remember correctly, he accounted for like 13% of the cap once he signed his contract.. and stayed in that range for 2 more years until he restructured the final 3 years to make more room for acquisitions

Flacco has been disrespected his entire career. From the day he was drafted Skip called him a bust and the media ran with it. Even when he carried the 17th ranked defense to a SB win they still gave them the credit. Even though they gave up more yards and points in a single post season than any SB winning team. But because Ray Lewis and Ed reed were on that team the defense got all the credit. And to this day most people will still say that defense carried him. Which is ridiculous. @LunaticTheCat Denying facts is a bad thing? Did Rodgers bring in Hackett? How has that worked out? Did Rodgers bring in his friends as teammates? How has that worked out? What was his biggest complaint in GB? That he didn't have a say. How has that worked out? What was his biggest compliment of the Jets? That it felt good having a team that listened to him. How has that worked out?

Is Joe Flacco's day job being the Special Counsel prosecutor Jack Smith?
@Relayer6a11 ай бұрын
Flacco was a meme about winning the SB with a bad QB. Well, it's time to put respect on Joe's name.

Because the NFL doesn’t always make sense. The Browns aren’t genius’ they just had a need and Flacco’s number was on the list.

With few exceptions, the dual threat quarterbacks don’t seem to have the durability of a drop back passer.

Drop back passers get hurt just as often. People just don't blame them as much for their injuries.

Cousins Herbert Rodgers Daniel Jones Richardson Watson Only two of those guys I would say are dual threat.

Burrow has had 2 season ending injuries in less seasons than Lamar. Everyone thinks Lamar is injury prone but Burrow is unlucky. People don't look at facts and just push the narrative they want.

Flacco is winning because he’s playing behind a great defense. He was trash last time he played for the Jets. He’s in the right situation.

When Joe is on, he's very good. But he's not always on.

One QB has the pocket presence of a moth to a light and succeeds with it and every team thinks all QB with legs can conjure plays out of nothing. Flacco is getting a lot of deserved attention, but in the recent past, a bad QB who improvises has gotten more attention than good, even decent, QBs with proper veteran presence.

On the couch making tik tok video about hats, where he belongs because the nfl isnt play ground football. Same with lamar after another 1 and done plyoff game because he doesnt understand routes and likes to fumble footballs untouched.

@vperkv6554 lol at you thinking Lamar is going away anytime soon. I hate the ravens, I was hoping they would let him go. Unfortunately he is gonna be a thorn in the browns side for years to come.

@@bryan-still-a-poker-player lamar is trash. Period. Mumble fumbles. Untouched. Talk about picks, he throws picks non stop. He cant read defenses wht so ever.

@@bryan-still-a-poker-player Aint no way that Lamar will be a Longterm QB... his feet will run him into injuries, never has been a pocket passer... Pocket passers last a long time...Ask Tom Brady or Joe Montana
