Real reason? Author added Sara on the light novel and not in the webnovel. The webnovel is the first draft of MT. But they needed some down time in the light novel before doing the school arc. So Sara was born.

It’s deeper than that bro. It was a miscommunication, and neither were at fault. She isn’t a mind reader, from her perspective this guy she had feelings for and made a move on her after they are naked and in bed couldn’t get it up, and then sank into silence and like shame and self pity because ofc for him it wasn’t about her all she thought was that it was because he wasn’t into her, and so to save face she said what she said. She didn’t know he spent the night drinking and wallowing in embarrassment and misery about it, and despite that miscommunication she still went to again talk and see him the next morning, when again from her perspective she comes across him saying everything that essentially reaffirmed the belief she had the night before…and ofc she again isn’t an omniscient mind reader, she didn’t know that was him drunk, saving face himself and so it was just another miscommunication. But even after that, she again went and sought him out despite her own perspective on everything and it was only then, after he was already gone that Elise told her it was ED and that it was too late and he was already gone, and she spent years regretting that. Its different with Sylphiette, or Roxy, or if it was Eris, those were all people who had deep bonds with Rudy, and knew him from childhood, and who both sides were willing to speak plainly what they were thinking

Also after the *REAL* Rudeus died from time travel and losing his organs, he met Eris in his afterlife and they maybe lives forever in that timeline. It’s crazy how these relationships sound paper compared to how they actually play out in the story. People say he’s loves all his wives the same but he clearly favors Roxy way more to the point where even sylphy knows she’s his number 1. Honestly she’s the most boring of the wives and the only I really do feel like didn’t deserve her spot. The other two idolize Rudi while she simply took advantage of his depression, got married, and became his number 1 wife. I like Roxy don’t get me wrong. Sylphy is often ignored by rudi, between him always praising Roxy outloud and his training and fighting by Eris’s side she’s often overlooked for her efforts such as raising ALL the kids and keeping the family together. Out of all his wives I do feel that sylphy loves him the most. Then there Eris. She loves Rudy no doubt but after she was brought into the family her character turned into “ I want baby now” and it kinda killed her character for me not to mention he she wasn’t much of a conversationalist. She’s definitely second best tho.

@@ducktempest3845 I think that the Light novel of MT is not very different from the web novel. Volume 7 and the introduction is the biggest thing. I think that having only three wives was very good decision because each one of them is very developed character and deep bond with Rudy. If Sara was added into the mix she would be in much worse position than the other three.
