Why Didn't The 49ers Make A Trade Splash?

Is it possible that Kris Kocurek is a touch overrated? It seems like for the past couple years 49ers fans are constantly complaining about how weak the pass rush is (outside of Nick Bosa) and how the d-line isn't stopping the run, yet they still hail Kocurek as one of the best positional coaches in football. It seems like those opinions don't mesh together very well.

I agree. I think he’s great at developing guys but not great at elevating guys who have plateaued.

Yeah, with this group of guys, they should be pretty good, but they're not. You watch them, and yeah, don't really pressure the QB and are not able to stop the run when they need.

Seriously you have to ask yourself those questions man hardgrave had a few good years comes over to us he’s a nobody Get chase he has 5 sack we get him he has 2 Get Floyd been avg 9 sack for the last 4 years he has 3 half way through the season Drakes a nobody and Beal is at best a special teamer Whole line is a joke

CMAC and Greenlaw are the 2 most important players for this teams chances at this point that haven’t been playing. They are easily 6-2 now with those 2 in the line up. They win SB if Green doesn’t go down and CMAC isn’t injured (and a couple bad Kyle pressure decisions at end AGAIN) ……Bottom line Kyle MUST manage both of their loads better. Also Kris K has been underperforming as a coach the last couple years vs talent IMO
