Chris's Note : G Bang= Genius Bang LeeKnows Note: Lee Know is Cute IN's note: Aggibang = Babybread I can't fully catch Changbin's but it has something to do with Dweakki (돼끼) There's a making of this video and its just the camera filming the boys doing silly things, you should check it out sometime! The small cars scene, Hyunjin's car breaks down and he just runs around instead. This whole song is 100% just a clap back to the haters (Dudududu from Gods Menu, why are you laughing at it?) Also, coming out and saying the boys were written by women is bold....like its TRUE but its also bold...and I love it. The cheeses they mentioned in the song are all types of cheese with low lactic acid, so people who are lactose intolerant can still eat them & enjoy it. So they are likening their music to different kinds of cheese that everyone can enjoy. When listing the fingers, the add libs in the background say "thumb, pointer, ring, pinky" so what you are left with is the middle finger. But if you follow the main part, it's a thumbs up. The line in Cheese where Felix goes "Look. Why'd you say it like that?" is actually a reference to the survival show from before they debut. The episode where Minho was trying not to be eliminated & messed up, Felix asked him why he messed up. And since he was still learning Korean, he did it in a kinda accusatory way. People constantly reminded him of this, saying that exact expression. We know he didn't mean it the way it sounded, but people seemed to like using that against Felix. Also in Cheese, where Han is running from a dino, is a reference to their song Chronosaurus. In that song, they likened time to a monster. They used chrono for time, and a modification of the Kronosaurus. (Which is a type of pliosaurus that's fossils were found in Australia.) People also had a lot to say (hate) about that song too....Which sucks. Because it's one of my fave songs. The "Cawing of Crows" is a reference to their song Awkward Silence. (It's incredibly cute. It was also made when Stray Kids were still a nine member group, so the Ex member is in it. If no one has said, Stray Kids debut as a 9 member group, but Woojin left just under 2 years after they started. Right before a comeback. It was a mess. Most Stays ignore his existence, but I just treat him as a surprise guest. Not a part of the group.) The Headache is a reference to their song Side Effects. Cheese itself is a rather interesting concept. "Smile for the camera. Say cheese." How often do we hear/say that? Stray Kids know that anytime they are outside, there will be cameras. Sometimes they will have to put on a smile whether they want to or not. I.N has said in old interviews that he smiles so that people won't worry, especially his members. He has also mentioned in some vlog or another, that when he was in elementary school his classmates told him he looked too scary & he should smile more to not look mean. So that is why we rarely see him without a smile. He has been doing that since he was small. So in this video, whenever they smiled for "Cheese" it was rarely a smile that reached their eyes. You notice that at the last "cheese" where they were gathered around the camera, as soon as they said that their smiles fell & they looked disappointed & disgusted as they walked away. The only time they looked truly happy was when they were together & when running through the shredded post-its. (Which were almost all things people have said about them. Some good. Some lovely. Lots bad. Annoying. Loud. Bad leader. So many things that have been sent to them in hate. So what did they do? They papered a room, they wore them, they fought them, they shredded them into confetti to run in.)

I did not know about the Chronosaurus reference, I thought it was just Han being Han (and his fondness for trivial stuff like cheetahs and probably dinosaurs, etc.). I know a lot of people have a hard time picking one, but Chronosaurus has been my favorite SKZ song as a long-time Stay. Why the heck would a song about a "time dinosaur" get hate?

@@chibib I think it was because #1: It was SKZ singing it & this was a point in their career that they got a lot of hate for just being themselves. #2: It has a different & slightly unsettling rhythm.The way it was put together is just so different from what was popular at the time...And still different today. I love it though. It's in my top five fave songs of theirs. It's just so haunting in the slow parts & it gives me good shivers.

@@GolyenHighway That's too bad, it's my favorite too. I love things that talk about time and existential crisis. This was right up my alley (Awaken was my fave prior to Chronosaurus, DLC is another one, TA is just the weird one out). The unsettling vibe of the song was what actually lured me into it, even though some of the samples used in the production make it sound old/outdated lmao. Like what Changbin always says, I always go and figure it out myself and refuse to trust other people's opinions. I literally check every group's discography for songs I might consider hidden gems that everyone else thinks otherwise. Awaken and Chronosaurus are definitely some of these songs. I rarely see other people (fans even) talking about them, let alone hold them in high regard.

@@chibib My top 5 list is Blueprint, Chronosaurus, Voices, TA, and Super Board. I enjoy so much of their music, that it's hard to keep a solid list. It really depends on what I feel like on a certain day. And it could shift in a few hours. So my top five are songs that consistently end up near the top of every list. There are very few Stray Kids songs I will skip, and those are normally skipped because I don't wanna cry right now thank you. Or I don't wanna be soothed for the moment, I'll come back to it when I want to relax.

I LOVE how unhinged I.N always is in this song. There is one clip I've seen where he does the count in korean before saying cheese with that unhinged smile and just drops to a mean-mug in a split second and it's my FAVORITE!!! This video is where he bias wrecked me for the first time. but nothing beats white hair I.N when he started getting SEXY with things. Cheese is actually pretty deep, for example, blue, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese, are safer for people who are lactose intolerant, they’re basically saying, even if you think our music doesn’t agree with you we have so many different kinds of music, that there is certainly something you’ll be able to enjoy It’s a song for the harers. Basically, just saying you shouldn’t hate on anyone’s work when you haven’t heard all of it. And some of the lyrics directly point to some of the other songs, saying that “these have a deeper meanings”. they aren’t just talking about cheese. That’s also part of the reason why I.N looks so crazy in the MV.
