Although I am not a big Zakir Naik fan and I have criticized him countless times for his misunderstanding of Sikh religion, but here I agree with what he has said. All prophets have preached one way that is "submitting the will to Almighty" that is the literal meaning of Islam. In Sikhism we pray "Hukam Razai chalna Nanak likhya naal" we need to follow and walk his Hukm i.e. his will

+singh jasbeer Dear Jasbeer.. I have a question. I have been to a Gurudwara on the occasion of a Sikh friend wedding. I saw people prostrating to Guru Granth Sahib. For me it is kind of worshiping Guru Granth Sahib. We should worship only the creator, The Almighty God not the creation. Can you please clarify me about this? Thanks in advance.

The belief is that Guru Granth sahib is not considered as any ordinary book, it's more than a life for any Sikh because it contains the divine words in it (that's the belief) and our trust is if you listen to the divine words will full concentration by sitting in the presence of guru the chances of divinity being bestowed on you will increase for sure. The prostration is done to show as a mark of respect when you enter the premises of Guru that is known as Guru-Dwara (Guru's door) that place is the place of Guru. let's take it like this if I enter your house I will definitely greet you first, now as you are just a human like me I will have a work that we human beings have with each other, e.g. some business talk or some money exchange or to share happiness or sorrow.. But in Guru's house we go for connecting with the divine and that connection is made through the words that is written inside Guru Granth Sahib because the words directly touch our heart, mind and soul. Hence we bow to those words (collection of words) contained in a book which are not ordinary in any sense, if touched it can help us reach the ultimate divine bliss. Other than this it also considered as a gesture for seeking divine grace through Guru's words the divine words which is known as Baani in Punjabi. And the words Help, like Quran's words it helps a lot.

I agree with Dr. Zakir Naik about all all the past Saints, Mystics, came into this world to teach mankind submission to God and oneness with God. The only thing missing that Dr. Zakir Naik did not point out was that the past mystics had all taught about the divine Sound. Muhammed talked of the eternal sound, Christ talked about the Sound, Krishna talked about the Sound, Guru Nanak talked about the divine Sound and many other mystics and saints talked about it. The sound is the key element.

"Why didnt God Create only One Religion?" Well, it is all His wish! How can you ask Him what He should do or should not do? You can also ask: " Where was the need for God to create a world?" You should ultimately realize that "God" is only an idea that people invented. And using this concept, people can exploit each other, confuse each other and quarrel with each other.

Zakir Naik totally misunderstood the question. The question is, why god didn't send the prophet equal to Muhammad, and taught the teachings of Islam through each prophet at it's time and taught them to pray or abuse women or whatever Islam teaches men to do.. Why all prophets taught "nothing but small things for the people" Muhammad came for Arabic people too.. That's why Quran is in Arabic, don't go there and say Muhammad came for everyone where other prophets came for themselves.

in islam we belive that God has sent us on earth as a test we have free will. us humans have the option to either follow God or not it is up to us. however what islam says is those who don't follow God and what the commands he's given us and the messengers that he had sent upon us as muslims we will be classed as losers.

Yes, you have submitted your will to "God the devil" who is the "God of Earth", who is claiming he is the creator. But many recognised him as an imitator/imposter as was fortold by the TRUE prophets. There are many, many deceivers who claim they are the last prophet, and all these will deceive millions. BUT the "GOD of TRUTH" has no such limit. HIs PROPHETS is forever into the future, anyone who speak his will is his prophet.

Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh). Study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity.
