I find nitro so dumb. I understand animated profile pictures, the emoji stuff, and etc. But sending bigger files and HD streaming should be a given. It improves discords quality. The other stuff is more cosmetic than bigger files and HD streaming! It even says for the discord nitro image when you go to it into discord it says "Make discord yours. Upgrade emoji, personalize your profile, and stand out in your servers." HD streaming and bigger files aren't any of those!

I've been on a discord server pretty much big and everyone who had rank had been gifted by the owner with a monly discord nitro. Literally everyone said "It's cool to have D Nitro but the perks are only used to flex on guys who don't have to make them jelous. And also she gift this to all of the staff because boosting" yep, she donate discord nitro to the staff only to boost the server. Discord boosting on the server was only to "support" the server, there was no real perks on any minigame on the server or something like that. I've used D Nitro to because she gift one to me and well, my opinion on the server wasn't really good aswell so I decided to boost another server. She banned me. Real sad and I think this made me hate this D Nitro. If someday i get one, I'll probably do it because i wanna support discord, the perks aren't real cool or useful.

there is lot of free discord nitro for invites, it's scam, I invited 10 people and asked the owner to give me nitro, he didn't give me for a 10 hours, after I busted him for scamming he blocked me and banned me from the server.

Getting cheap boosts sounds worth it until you find out what they do. They increase your sound quality, give you an animated server icon, and a special role and a couple of other things. Point is, you're paying 10 or 5 dollars for an animated server icon and a badge to show off, and emojis.
