“I enjoyed it for five years….. I left the dream job..” - where does she say she had a problem with the change to cgi? Click bate for sure, but there are a few interviews with her on KZbin.

Fall and clash of giant dragon at the end of "How to train your Dragon" every time stuns me, every aspect of scene, in same time it's victorious, hillarious, tragical...

They don’t need them. Disney has become creatively oppressive to the point it damages reputation. With today tech and connection animators can make their own show. What we need to be thinking is how to channel animators to each other project and not having to sign their life away to project they don’t want to do. Because we have something these day that in the past they never had. It called access and chocie

Whatever Vincent Chansard does, that enables him to animate for both Toei, and MAPPA.

4:30 you said Disney’s daughter…but they said it was his wife who loved it. Patty Disney= wife - Abigail Disney= daughter Important distinction…wife, daughter haha gotta rewatch multiple times while editing

Ellen Woodbury is a very good animator and I think saying she was "one of the best" of Disney's Renaissance-era animators would be fair , but "Disney's BEST animator" is kind of clickbait-ish and really open to dispute. Are you really saying you think Ellen Woodbury is better than say , Glen Keane , or Andreas Deja , who also quit Disney ? "Best" is subjective of course , and maybe you really believe that Ellen Woodbury was "Disney's best animator" . Ok ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, what do you mean by claiming that she "quit the company and NEVER DREW AGAIN" ??? How do you know she never drew again ? I'm fairly sure that as an active artist (mainly as a sculptor) that Ellen Woodbury draws frequently. The whole point of Ellen's story , of going on to a successful career as a sculptor after having been an animator, is that THERE IS LIFE AFTER DISNEY. Just because someone leaves Disney Animation doesn't mean they would never draw again. What are you talking about ???

I hated CGI from the beginning. I know that many people love it but I can't stand those ridiculous faces and characters' movements. They all look the same and the magic is definitely gone for me.
