Well if you want your pictures to look like film and don’t want to spend too much money it’s a good option. I already took 2000 pictures in 1 month. Can I use my phone instead? Yes. But it uses room on my storage which is already full and I have to edit the pictures to make them look like film. It’s not perfect but it has something about it that I like

Doesn't really replace film, the better bet is to just get into proper film photography by grabbing an old Canon or Minolta 35mm and practicing with some cheap foma black and white film. It's pretty easy to get into developing black and white film at home as well using rodinal stand/semi-stand development.

This isn’t a disposable camera. It’s meant to give you a similar experience and take photos like a disposable, but it’s digital, reusable, one time purchase and takes unlimited photos. A lot of people love the paper shoot because it gets you away from your phone, allowing you to capture memories and live in the moment.

@papershootcamera6502 3 ай бұрын
Not sure where you can find the disposables for $6 - Amazon has them for $15 minimum. But even at $6 + $17 for developing - thats almost $1 per photo. That's not cost effective. When you get digital photos printed, you can select only the best ones and they cost a couple cents.

Or, why not learn a few basic things about photography, get an adjustable camera (Kodak Pony 135 can usually be had for under $40, Smena 8M for as little as $20 plus shipping from Ukraine) and take *control* of your photos. You'll still pay $6 to $10 for a roll of film, and about the same for processing as before, but you'll save $20+ on every roll where you don't throw a plastic camera into a landfill (those things were meant to be recycled, but almost no processing labs actually do). I got great images on a Pony 135 when I got my first one in 1972, at *age 12.* It's not rocket surgery. And then you can take the next step: shoot black and white film and process your own. Same camera, another $70 or so in equipment and $30-50 for chemicals, and a cut-your-own cardboard adapter to let you use your smartphone to digitize your negatives.

Alright, putting on my adult voice here. I'm a photographer. I shoot on film, and I make damn good money doing it. Enough to report it on my tax papers. I make that money on my arsenal of Canons and Yashicas, pro kit. I also use a Zeiss from 1959 (Ikon Contessa, check it out love mine) for my personal "for fun" photos. So what am I photographing? Concerts, mostly local small shows. Sometimes, I'm at a big show and I'm not on press duty, I'm GA. I love physical memories, but no way in HELL am I bringing my Zeiss, its as old as my grandmother. So I grab a quick and easy Fuji Dispo. And yknow what? 9 times of 10, they look just as good as my Zeiss. Because they're shot on FUCKING FILM. These aren't "film like" they're low quality attempts at emulating the wrong look. They emulate CINEMA film. Those random dark spots? Originally, cigarette burns in editing. That won't happen at a lab. My cameras, the good ones, have cost me HUNDREDS, film costs $20 a can. If you want to sit here and bitch about the price and process of film, throw your $150 bullshit piece of cardboard and shoddy electronics to the wind.
@papershootcamera6502

This comment doesn't sound very professional or adult of you. If it were you would refrain from swearing, and attacking. We did not diss film, these were made by a film photographer who wanted to emulate the look of film - not perfectly because that isn't achievable in a digital format, but it is inspired by a love of film. Disposable cameras, which is the focus of this video have become crazy expensive, just because it is trendy now. People that are not film fanatics, buy disposable cameras because of the surprise element, the look of the photos, and to have a separate device other than their phone to capture memories. Those are all wonderful things. We have thousands of professional photographers as customers, who enjoy paper shoot for what it is. They can also appreciate that it is a great way to get into photography, focus on composition, have some fun with lenses, filters, photo effects etc. Additionally, our cameras are not shoddy, nor made of cardboard.
