Here's a good tip if you want to farm some Blaze rods: Have some splash water bottles that'll deal 1 damage to Blazesn Enderman, or have some snowballs with you, it deals 1 and a half hearts of damage against these Blazes. Just to heads up in the future

Elias' Top Tip: Wither Skeletons are 3 blocks tall. Use that to your advantage and make gates in nether fortresses that only you can pass under and not the skeletons. This tactic is also great for skull farming.
