Quite encouraging to know that Tin mining is still going on in Plateau State. The tea farmers are a unique set of trail blazers and you would think that the State would encourage them by way of grants and soft loans but instead they would be more interested in palm handling to Abuja. So long as the Oil money is still flowing States would never look inwards for revenue generation. It's really sad. One wonders if Oil is not a curse on the Nation.

I enjoy all your videos, Bigwillz, but especially when your in Plateau State or Taraba State. I don't know as much as I would like to about all of Nigeria, so I didn't know coffee was grown there. It seems like Plateau State would be a tough place to be a farmer if people who want to mine are trying to push the farmers out and herders also want the farm ground for grazing.

In Plateau State the farmers and the miners are in my opinion one and the same. They've developed a way of working together. The major problem is mostly with herders.

Nice work. Base on your question. If the state government invest in the solid mineral mining, it will create job for the locals with a modern mining method. Which will put the invaders away. Thereby generating revenue for the state and bring in peace among the people.

I have no confidence in the federal government. The people of Bokos and Mangu local government areas were attacked in December 2023 as part of a drive to ethnically cleanse them to allow nomads to take over their land. The government doesn't secure safety or respect people's lives. If the federal government were to intervene they would still be attacked and what little money they would be making would disappear into politicians and civil servant's pockets. The less people have to do with the federal government, the better off they will be. I was really impressed by those people that chose to speak English, it was so clear and grammatically correct. Coffee is grown in Cameroon and Ivory Coast, as well as Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Burundi etc.
