If you have completely trusted Jesus Christ and what he accomplished to pay your sin debt at Calvary, you are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of your redemption, Ephesians 4:30 KJV! Your sins are already forgiven before you even commit them, Ephesians 1:7 KJV; because today, according to the mystery Paul revealed in Ephesians and Colossians, salvation is offered as a FREE GIFT, Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV. Do you see that asking for forgiveness when you already have it is letting God know that you have not accepted his gift? Everything before Acts 28:28-31 was written to and about the nation of Israel. Most believers today are never told that as pagan Gentiles, we would not have been allowed into any of the churches in Acts because we would have been reckoned to be “unclean.” That means that nothing written to those in those churches - Jews obeying the Mosaic Law and “Greeks” obeying the ordinances they received that made them just “clean” enough to enter the churches - can apply to us because, simply put, God was NOT even speaking to US at the time! A gift that is freely given like the one In Ephesians 2:8&9 can have no strings or conditions or it would cease to be a gift! And even human gift givers know that a gift cannot be demanded back! This dispensation of Gentile grace will continue until Christ returns in his appearing, (Colossians 3:4 KJV), not to give Israel a kingdom because they forfeited receiving a kingdom of their own at the end of Acts, but to receive his inheritance from his father, “the kingdom of his dear Son,” (Colossians 1:13 KJV), of which all believers are his fellow heirs (Ephesians 3:6; 2:15 KJV). Preachers either don’t know this or they choose to ignore it because they cannot control their flock with a message of such pure grace!

I so appreciate this timely Word, Woman of God! Repentance is so vital to our Relationship with Christ Jesus, not just once we give our lives to Christ, but also, during the duration of our time here in the Earth. I like the way Apostle Paul says it-shall I continue to sin so that Grace may increase? By no means! I have died to sin.. being mindful of the reality and dailyness of warring against the carnal mind and the ungodly desires of my flesh keeps me sober and in check, holding me accountable to God’s Word and His good and perfect Will for my life. Grace, therefore, does not afford me a license to sin-in fact, the Grace of God should compel and remind me not to. When I do, be intentional in prayer, ask God for forgiveness, and change my perspective and heart on the matter-Repent! I agree! If anyone whispers this isn’t a necessary ingredient to be Fruitful in the Kingdom- they have not in mind the things of God, but the things of man.🙏🙏😇

Donna, You’re very close to the truth regarding the grace by which we are saved today, but I m afraid that you are unintentionally mixing in the legalism from God’s relationship with Israel. After Israel was let go and given a bill of final divorce in Acts 28:28-31 KJV, the mystery of this new dispensation of Gentile grace (and today everyone is treated as a Gentile by God) was revealed to Paul so that he could announce this huge change in his dealings with mankind! And this change will continue until the day Christ appears (Colossians 3:4 KJV) and receives his inheritance, a kingdom, not with Israel’s name on it, but with his own name on it, “the kingdom of his [God’s] dear Son,” (Colossians 1:13 KJV). Most Christians have never been told that there is a new end to God’s story! The Jews lost their kingdom hope but the saints of Israel that did believe God during their lifetimes, and the believing Greeks from the Acts period, will go into the kingdom in the earth along with the vast number of former Pagans (Ephesians 2:11-13 KJV) that have accepted the gift of eternal life in Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV, together, made of twain, the “one new man” of Ephesians 2:15 KJV. It’s all there in black and white in Paul’s final two letters, Ephesians and Colossians! Before that time, Pagans (lawless blood drinkers) were not even eligible to be saved and they would not have been allowed in any of the churches! But God has concluded the whole world to be either unsaved Pagans or Pagans that have accepted his free gift! He does not recognize the term, “Jew,” anymore at all. (Paul barely mentions the term after Acts 28!). Why am I saying all this? It’s because we need to stop applying what God said to Israel before that final split in Acts 28 which was their very last chance to agree to the re-marriage he was offering them with a kingdom where he and his bride would dwell in the many mansions he had prepared for them. There will be no more offers to them; they’re gone, assimilated into the world of Pagan Gentiles in the eyes of God and they need salvation just like everyone else by accepting the gift! So repentance has nothing to do with us; we have never broken God’s heart like his chosen people/wife did! Our sins are forgiven in advance and they play no part in our salvation, although we are exhorted to walk worthy of so great a salvation! Salvation is now an individual matter, not a corporate one like Israel would have had, so every individual that has trusted God and/or his Son, Jesus Christ, will be granted a place in the new kingdom spoken of in Colossians 1:13 KJV! There are at least two reasons why Christians don’t know this, one is that they are under the false teaching that God is not done with Israel and that their prophecy will yet be fulfilled; and, two, pastors and preachers instinctively know that preaching things from Israel’s defunct relationship with God makes it so much easier to control them and lighten their wallets than teaching them about the free gift of Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV that comes with absolutely NO STRINGS ATTACHED like every other gift!
