It is the worst part! I always tell patients to breathe their nose and wiggle your toes ;) Try it out next time you need to have x rays taken!

@@DentistJess thank you! Why wiggle the toes? Any actual reason for that? Or just a distraction?

I hate the awkard plastic covered metal pieces they put between your teeth and make you bite down on; it always moves before they can snap the x-ray haha

They are awkward! I feel ya.. the only advice I have for this is to hold still :) If they can capture the image you only have to hold it once ... if not you might have to try again which ends up being even more painful and awkward.
