I so miss watching you opening the viewers packages Jackie. It really was one of my favourite things on both of your channels. There was nothing sweeter than watching you go into your heart when someone sent you something that they had created with love. I'm sure you get an enormous amount of things but I would really love to see you consider at least selecting a few packages open once a month. I know your back is a struggle but even choosing the smaller packages would be a treat. It really gives your Channel a real family feeling.

I was born with JRA (Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis) and since, I've been diagnosed with two other autoimmune diseases. I'm also having trouble with mine, although I've been going downhill for the last 10 years, I started getting a little relief after going on something called Rituximab. Anyway, the past week or two I've been dipping back down into unwell again, too. Hands in my case too, but also knees :S. Love to everyone, and gentle hugs to my fellow hurties. ♡♡ Good luck at school Jackie! I hope your joints and health allow you to do your best ♡♡♡

@@gailgerard8604 I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that. One of the most stressful things about being a hurty is when people don't believe you, or believe it's in your head/not as big of a deal as it is. It's not fair at all because weight and exercise is something we generally have control over whereas having a genuine autoimmune disease is absolutely not. So when faced with the former, we feel as though we are being blamed for our pain, whereas with the later, it's pity. And although neither are great, at least with pity, we don't have to feel like we did anything wrong. I hope that made sense. Anyway, I wish you all the best, and all good days ahead! ♡ I guess that's one positive with having been born with it. They cant very well tell an 18 month old to lose weight and exercise lol.

@@lazyhomebody1356 some people just want to shift the blame and do less work. Doctors, although so many of them are absolutely amazing, aren't immune to this. That said, sometimes it's a starting point because it's easier to exercise and all that, and it help, than to have to put the patient on various treatments and tests. But at the end of the day, what matters most is if the doctors keep going until they find the right diagnosis.

I am so hapoy that you are going tk back to teaching. I just see in your personality that you have to be so good with the students. I teach online also. I teach on a platform called Outschool and have for over 3 years. I also teach for a university as an adjunct history professor online. Teaching online is fun. I love zoom and being face to face with my students. I do wish that I could hug them and benin person with them frequently but I am so glad I can reach so many more kiddos across the country and around the world then I would just teaching for my local school district. I hope you feel better soon. Like everyone else I love your videos and look forward to our time together each week. I am a knitter and sewer. I also like crafting and painting. You probably won't see this but on the brushes the light blue ones (Crafters Choice Royal and Langnickel) are amazingly good. Get some 0, 0/3 and 0/20 and you're tight. I've had a set for two years and they still are fine. The secret is brush care, and it's not hard. One paint loading: try to make sure the paint only goes up to halfway up the bristles. That way it doesn't get in the furrel(sp?) Of the brush. Two washing the brush: brush soap is your friend. B&J's brand of brush soap is amazing, I've used a puck of it (like $15 US, able to get at crafting stores or online) for over a year and I haven't even used half of it. (It also smells like happy). Get your brush wet, rub it against the puck until your brush is soapy, and then gently swirl the tip in the palm of your hand until it's foamy creamy like shaving cream. Then pull the brush in the way the bristles sit... forming a tip. Repeat until clean. Then rinse the brush and set it on its side to dry. For really caked on crud, get boiling water, add vinagar and dip the brush in it. After about 30 seconds, "paint" the bottom of the water/vinagar container and loosen up the gunk. Then you can pull it out and gently rub the bristles in the palm of your hand and loosen the gunk. This, plus brush restorer, will drastically extend the use of your brushes. And the materials are like pennies per use...if that. For further instructions, you can look up something like "how to maintain your miniature brushes" and there are a lot of videos. Because miniature painting brushes are no joke, and nobody got time for buying new ones all the time.

I am so happy to see that you are still on KZbin after all of these years. You are truly a wonderful person, artist, and inspiration to so many who watch your channel. It’s so nice to see that you now have your sister Seka joining you in some of your videos. It’s so much fun to watch you two together.
