I love trophy hunting because A.) Feels like I'm giving the proper time and respect to the developers who put time and effort into their games B.) I'm getting the most out of every dollar spent for the game C.) I'm seeing everything the game has to offer and getting enjoyment from it.

awesome video! I love hearing the different reasons why people trophy hunt. I’ve only been doing it for about a year at this point, but in that year I’ve gotten all trophies/achievements in almost every game I’ve played. personally the biggest draw for me is being able to learn more about the games I’m playing, as well as the satisfaction of overcoming those difficult challenges and having something to show for it. platinuming/100%ing games makes the experience a lot more memorable, and I come out of it knowing a lot more than I would have otherwise. also in regards to PC achievements, I would definitely be an example of a PC achievement hunter lmao, simply because PC is my platform of choice due to both the convenience of it and its much larger library, so I still go for steam achievements in everything (thankfully they’re also displayed on your profile in various stats/showcases which is neat). there are definitely some drawbacks compared to playstation trophies, but I still enjoy it a lot. I’ll still play games on playstation if they’re not on PC or if I can get the physical playstation copy for significantly cheaper than on PC

Haha, I'm glad to see that there are a good number of PC achievement hunters. PC was my second choice when I was hunting for achievements and it's definitely the most pocket friendly option since there are always good deals compared to Playstation. Good luck on your future hunts!

so i actually just finished platnium black ops 4 and it was the last call of duty i needed to platnium every cod game in the franchise ( ill still go back and play some old ones on steam ) but as for Platnium im done with call of duty it took my about 14 months and for black ops for was special since i had that game since 2018 and never thought i would get such a achievement when i got the platnium 2 nights ago i said to myself wow i actually did it ❤ 5 years man just like that 😅 anyway my next series im going for is the metro series:)

Very impressive dude, does that include bo3 and the new games? I have mw2 campaign remastered and modern warfare remastered done and currently working on classic mw3

I well made video, with great points, fellow trophy hunter. Uncharted 1 Deeznuts difficulty was my first ultra-hard trophy. It has opened some doors. For example to the Souls games by FromSoftware. It made me grow a lot. I started trophy hunting out of curiosity. What else has the game to offer? I reached many highs, and fell down into the depth of trophy burn out. At the moment I am back at my initial approach. Just play games for fun and if I love the game, I go for the Platinum. 2024 will be a great year, if I keep to it.

I prefer gamer score over all compared to trophies on PlayStation. Think it’s a little cleaner seeing I have 100k gamer score compared to this amount of gold trophies, this amount of silver, etc. however… I do love platinum trophies. On the 360 you could see what games you 100% but you can’t on the newer Xbox consoles which sucks a little unless you just want to scroll until you see what games you fully completed

Yeah, I agree on the gamer score being cleaner. I do appreciate the Platinum for being something you achieve when finishing the base game challenges. I think I'd go mad if I finished a game completely and, because it has DLCs, it only got to like 80%. This also applies on PS as well of course, but that Platinum shows that you did indeed achieved every challenge the base game had.

I've done my fair share of trophy hunting. But Xbox achievements is where I'm the best. I have reached 700th on the global leaderboard in terms of highest Gamerscore.
