MesoAmerican = native American All native American on the America conitinent came from a single gene pool from about 26,000 to 35,000 years ago. They share the same gene as Asian from North Asia, such as Siberia, Mongolia, Northern China, some from middle Asia and East Asia region. In other words Native Americans are Asians. The migration from Asia continent to America continent was a slow process over thousands of years. There are some subtle differences to their look but they are all Asian. Similar story with Philippines and Indonesia. Mexicans who have native American blood are basically Asians who live on the America conitent. Mexicans and Asians are blood relative.

You're not Latina tho. Latinas are literally people from Italy .80% of Mexicans have C2, B2 and D1 haplogroup in them, this would explain you're asian eyes not the 'Latin' European side. The Latino brand or label is a tribute to the persistence and continued potency of the Roman Empire's enduring legacy.. are you proud to be Roman-Italian? I'm proud to be Mexican first and not term pushed for me by Kissinger. Mexicans have C-Haplogroup which is from South east and Northeast asia. We also have B2 from Altiac from the Euro-asiatic regions of Russia. Some Mexicans like the Mixtec and Otomi and the Andean Peruvians carry D1 Haplogroup, this one is razy beause it's related to the JAPANESE Ainu. Kennewick man in Seattle was found and confirmed to be AINU Japanese and he was dated back to 6000BC , this would explain so many similiarities between Edo Mex Mexicans and Japanese ; our words, color theories, proverbs- dichos, foods etc. Some of our Nahuatl-Otomi words are also found in Russia through the Ket influence like Xochtli; Sochi Chiquitle. Theres also the Dene Caucasian(Uto-Aztecan) hypothesis that confirms this. You're only Latino/a if 80% of your features are strongly western european- meaning at least one parents(grand parent) hails from W.Europe. So if you're from Monterrey then yea you're a Latina but you will not hae Asiatic features like the Mexicans in Edo Mex. The majority of White Mexicans thats ancestry is from Iberia actually came from the 1930s under the migration of Franco. Vicente Fox, Gael Garcia Bernal all those novela stars; their grandparents were 1st generation Mexicans that arrived to Mexico in the 30s. But none of them have that 'Asian'/'Chino' look. Diaz Ordaz(President of Mexico during Tlateloclo masscare) is descended from Bernal Diaz and is also related to Porfiorio Diaz. None of them have the Chino look. Ana Gabriel is also half Chinese & Native and she passes for Otomi (Pre-Nahautl-Native Central Mexicans) and Lakota. .. Ana Gabriel looks Chinese. Lila Downs is half Mixtec-Native and half English but she doesn't carry the 'chino' look, instead she looks more Indian-hindi. Which proves that Otomi and Nahautl peoples are a descendant of the North East Eurasians and South East Asians. I've also found that first names in French Polyesia have similar Nahautl-Otomi names like Tepito, Tetuanui , . So the Austronesian link also exists. It's only the Americans with deep roots in Turtle Island that do.

I wonder if the small amount of Inuit and “Asian” DNA came from older ancestors who crossed the Ice Age land bridge from Asia into what is now Alaska. I know investigators of human migrations found common markers shared between a modern population of indigenous people in northeast Asia and the Inuit on the other side of what used to be the land bridge.

The DNA tests we buy aren't a fraction as sensitive as the tests that investigators have to use for migration research, so the test this lady did is unlikely to be sensitive enough to pick up the markers to say what happened thousands of years ago. Also, when you have a small percentage like 1 or 2% this is considered a trace amount and usually the company comes back after a few months to say that actually that nationality isn't in your dna after all.... Which doesn't mean that those migrations didn't happen, of course, just that this home dna test isn't evidence of it.

Native Americans came in different waves. The Inuits came in last and are related to East Asians. But andeans and other groups have inhabited the region since at least 18500 thousand years, and it's weird that the oldest settlement in the Americas is in Chile and not in north America. 20 thousand years ago our planet was in the middle of an ice age, and temperatures around the poles were extremely cold, and even now they are frozen wastelands and harsh on human life, so the hypothesis that humans actually crossed the Bering land bridge is falling out of favor. Most likely they rafted all the way there following the coast line. Also at least one third of native Americans DNA traces back to Western Europe, according to this study.

From 1565 to 1815 (250 years) Spain ruled their Philippine colony through Mexico due to the shorter distance across the Pacific Ocean. Large sailing ships called galleons carried trading goods between Manila and Acapulco. Many Filipinos made their way to Mexico as sailors; fishermen and skilled craftsmen and established small Filipino communities along the Pacific coast. I bet a genomic map around Acapulco would reveal foci of Austronesian ancestry.

Hello - I think there is absolutely nothing unusual about indigenous Americans like yourself looking Asian! If you know history, that would be seen as perfectly normal! That is because the first Indigenous Americans actually migrated from East Asia. They crossed over from the land bridge Beringia. So, the first Indigenous Americans were all actually East Asians, and it was only later over a matter of time that their skin tone changed slightly, and they also became heavier set due to differences in diet, etc. To this day therefore, many indigenous Americans continue to have some East Asian features, which would also explain your own appearance. Yes you looked Indigenous from the get go in your previous video so I followed the link here. As a Native Artist, I lived in New Mexico & saw many similarities among Native peoples. Many Native Americans live & intermarry in New Mexico. Filipinos have married into Arizona & West Coast tribes. One friend is Jemez Pueblo but looks like a Japanese actor. Another is a Navajo model but she is spitting image for a Chinese woman model on a calendar in our favorite Asian restaurant. The Spanish brought Tlaxcalans & other Natives North as "workers" or slaves, many ended up in El Paso after the Pueblo Revolt. Some of my Native people back in New York look like Indigenous people in New & Old Mexico. Our Iroquois white corn is a very old strain from Old Mexico. There are actually very few "Spaniards" in NM, they are predominantly mixed now, Mestizo, Genizaro, Chicano but some still call themselves Spanish. The DNA tests vary as you found out. They also can be biased as you found out. Native peoples traded & migrated everywhere before the Europeans & it was a different kind of movement after 1492 Contact, often as refugees & slave workers. The Amazon DNA strain is an older bloodline of migration I believe. The Native peoples walked up & down the Americas for thousands of years. I agree you are a Toltec Princess!

@@whatta1501 I have many friends & associates in NM and have met & worked inter-acted with great "Hispanic" artists & writers. Many if not most who appreciate, respect & honor their Native heritage & connections. Genizaro is a term describing the Mestizo or Mixed peoples & communities who founded their own villages actually in between Native Pueblos & Spanish Towns where they worked the exchange between the cultures for trade & commerce. See it in the MATACHINE Dances. The whole Day of the Dead - Dia de los Muertos - is viewed thru Indigenous eyes as much & really more than the Christian. Halloween the European pagan celebration, Day of the Dead or Dead Feast in North America & All Souls Day got all merged in practice. Catholic Church must've founded All Souls & All Saints Days to account for the ceremonies that were not going away.

And please realize that while, yes, Native peoples are related to Asian peoples, Native Americans reached the Americas before the Asian ethnicities you mentioned developed. In most cases, besides the Inuit of Alaska, Native Americans were separated so long they became distinct but related groups from their Asian cousins. The same can be said for Polynesians. While I think it’s great to point out the connection between Asians and Native Americans, I don’t appreciate conflating both groups. My initial guess, put you as Peruvian. Looking at the map, it would be some of your earliest ancestor. That means over time, your biological family line slowly moved north. Which means you having Mayan ancestry as well makes sense. You're initial ancestors, likely traveled island to island from Asia to the western South America region. From there your ancestry goes to Aztec to Mayan to Modern Mexico. That your genetic line (so fully near 100%) survived the collapse of both of those empires puts you at a good chance of having some type of royal blood among one or the other.

Most Mexicans are biologically mestizo, primarily of European and Native American ancestry. From wikipedia: “A University College London study which included Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Colombia, conducted with each country's anthropology and genetics institutes, reported that the genetic ancestry of Mexican mestizos was 56 percent Native American, 37 percent European and five percent African, making Mexico (after Peru and Bolivia) the country with the highest Amerindian ancestry of the five sample populations.” Many Mexicans say, that Spaniards exterminated the native Americans or Indios, however the facts tell us that it has been the admixture over the Centuries that makes difficult to find nowadays pure Native Americans or pure white people in Mexico. You can do all the DNA testing you want, most of it will confirm Spanish heritage. my friends which Spanish surnames appear Filipino, but can determine at least one Spanish ancestor Who lived in the 19th century, according to their family tree. in those days, Philippines provided new opportunities that not exist in Europe, wher wealth was based on inheritance. Someone to North America, perhaps South America, or even Africa. Others were too undeveloped countries like the Philippines. none of my friends denies their Spanish heritage, it’s just part of who they are.

Most native american groups did Not come from N asia via the Bering Strait. It will be some time before this gets into grade 4 to grade 9 social studies textbooks. Some college classes are finally teaching this, but its from instructor research and not yet in established college textbook series. Very few early migrants came from the Bering Strait, it wasn't frozen long enough for much groups to travel through, and there was not enough food resources to support island hopping from one iced-over island to the next. The majority of indigenous groups came from various waves of movement from the south pacific, they were polynesian. Several non-asian groups also made it the CA coast, perhaps related to the aborigines and Maori based on skull shape, but they fizzled out. Either they returned or they died out. The ancient peoples of Siberia and those of polynesia are very different people, its practically a world apart and the two groups never ever intermixed before colonial times. Will be interesting to see what a gene-flow analysis shows for more detailed migratory patterns.

I suppose it supports the theory that the first settlers crossed the Bering Strait. I suppose some stayed in the north and became Inuits and some continued down to populate the rest of the Americas.

The Inuits came thousands of years after the first Native Americans crossed. My wife also used MyHeritage and had just about the same results. @sneksnekitsasnek that is so true. I have literally been arguing with my daughter all day that she must have had a blue eyed great grandfather. 3 dna tests showed no European Dna. DNA analysis has shown that the ancestors of indigenous peoples in the Americas (North to South) crossed the frozen land bridge from Asia, so for that reason many of us look Asian. We are related. When I was a baby/toddler, many Koreans asked my parents if I was adopted from Korea. LOL

One reason people mistaken her for Asian might be because East Asians and Native Americas are related in ancestry since thousands of years ago the ancestors of Native Americans crossed from Siberia to Alaska when there used to be a land bridge. They came in multiple waves at different time periods and the last wave to arrive was the Inuit peoples you see today in Alaska, Northern Canada, and Greenland who do mostly seem to look East Asian.
@melahuak3 жыл бұрын
indigenous from the Americas is not same genetic origins as asians, there is difference in genetic variation that indigenous shows up as seperate origins from Asia,so NO asians are not same genetic population as Indigenous Americans,if it was then my 47% native genetics would show up as Asian/east Asian, but i clearly have less than 1%, so as a genetic population we are Not asians,have nothing to do with asians. The bering strait theory is Still a theory, no definitive proof exists asians were the only ppl who crossed into the americas 30,000-10,000yrs ago, even if so too much genetic variation has occurred that Asians and indigenous Americans are NO Longer the same "race". This is FACT. Native Americans ARE NOT Asians, even in terms of race and genetics, they are separate populations. No IFS and BUTS, we ARE NOT Asians, we are Indigenous Americans, Native Americans, Latin Americans,whatever u want to call it
@EddyOver90003 жыл бұрын
@@melahuak yes of course, I speak with you as a Mestizo with Native American Chichimeca Caxcan ancestry from Mexico and I agree with you that East Asians and Native Americans are genetically distinct now largely do to genetic mutation with time and both have experienced differences through time so I also don’t identify as East Asian. One thing that is evident is with Native American DNA test results showing that the more north of the Americas the more genetic similarities are to East Asians(the highest being Inuit peoples), but I am not saying that we are East Asians today, only that we may have had common ancestors to East Asians 10,000 - 30,000+ years ago. There’s some evidence to this, but then again like you said it only a theory at the moment so it’s not quite 100% for sure.

Actually, the "Out of Africa" theory is being questioned these days. That is the funny thing about scientific theories, they constantly evolve due to new information and discoveries. They discovered intact jaw bones between 500,000 and 700,000 years older than the ones used to formulate the OOA Theory, and it is now being suggested that we came from Eurasia. We've had 4 of us take several dna tests and none of them returned with any non European heritage. Essentially. We were Scandinavian, Western European, and a heavy Neanderthal genetic line. We all are built like the guys who compete in the strong man competitions. With long faces, large heads. And average height around 6'3". A Filipino guy I used to work with always used to say, "Here come my Vikings!" I didn't think much of it because as far as we knew, we were Scot-Irish, because that was what we were told. Guess what. Zero Scottish dna showed up. But tons of Norman / German region dna. Essentially Upper Paleolithic Survivors of the Brunn-Borreby type. www.scientificamerican.com/article/is-the-out-of-africa-theory-out/

Thank you so much for taking this test and sharing the results. Perhaps the DNA test is recognizing BOTH sides of your family coming through the bering strait. That's why South East Asia and Inuit appear in your results. I just ordered four different tests for my my parents and sibling to take. Maybe your mom can take the test. Whatever is the difference between you and your Mom may come from your dad's side. Also, if anyone from your dad's side has taken then same test, they may show up as a relative of yours. Can't wait for our tests to arrive in L.A.!
