Love that you didn't intentionally make the other side look horrible ( even chose your better side with less blemishes to do the bad one) but gave genuine advice based on different application for different types of faces

I heard LV doesn't even do authentication anymore because the qualityA wealthy colleague of mine often brings *regbags* bags to parties, but because she is dressed in high-end jewelry from head to toe, no one would think her bags are fake!

Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *regbags* .If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

I love how bad side doesn't look bad at all. It's makeup. but it doesn't "enhance", which is the much better way of putting makeup. Bad side just looks like the makeup version of herself. Different, but not exactly better. Good side enhances her natural look and even erases bad parts of her face and makes it so much better!

That's not to say I'm "bothered" by people buying knockoffs or fakes, but if I invested my hard earned money in that item, I wouldn't want to buy that brand, bag, or design, and then There's nothing wrong with finding something that better suits my needs and wants than the *regbags*

The fact that you actually used the same products for BOTH sides was enough for me to love this video. Most tutorials who tried to do this would use expensive makeup or makeup they are familiar with on the side that is 'correct' while using lesser brands or makeup they don't normally use on the 'wrong' side.

The popularisation of Korean as well as Western makeup is opening more options for everyone at the moment, great having more looks to choose from that work for your face the best… But the looks she’s trying to achieve are still trend led, eg snatched v shape face is her preference- but is also based on what society currently likes- not criticising her for that… But the BAD side here isn’t necessarily bad even for her face, is very subjective because a lot of people unfamiliar with Korean makeup probably would still think the upturned wing suits her better as shown in the comments. Glad she has found a look she feels prettiest in though 💞

^ no tf it’s not women have literally been talking about V shape face being ideal since the 90’s! So damn near 40 years! I’m sure you can find early dynasty texts about detesting round faces going back thousands of years in Korean and Chinese texts too 🤦🏽‍♀️ Next you’re going to call the contouring/desire for a thin nose a “new trend” too. lmao 😂 All you have to do is look at natural supermodels from the 90’s, 80’s and 70’s…not a lot of WIDE noses and un-snatched square, round and wide jaws on women, huh? 🙃 Common sense isn’t common.

I super agree. I don't think anything she said is right and wrong are "facts". On the wrong side she looks more "round", look younger, sweeter and much more interesting. On the "right" side she looks thinner, more mature, cleaner and sexier. I guess that's simply the way she choses to present herself, I like the "wrong" side. For example, on my perspective, the eyeliner is SO MUCH BETTER on the "wrong" side. It "opens" her eyes, they look brighter and wider, it's lovely; also the contour on the "right" side is too much, it looks like dirt ...

I think I've heard a couple of Asian makeup youtubers refer to their lids as "mono lids" rather than hooded eyes. Which are two different things, so it makes sense that techniques vary.

Monolids vs hooded eyes are really different. I really like how asian makeup can look like on asian eyes and I also like the big western eye looks. But my hooded eyes just hide every makeup. Most of the time I can only see a bit colored line, if I try to go up its just connects my eyes and my brows and I dont have space to do something. I don't really like makeup, but the simple eye looks can look so beautiful... Except when nothing is working. (only if I look down or I close my eyes)
@Just-Nikki

Both sides looked good. One side looks softer and more natural and the other looks more like an evening look. I’m 50 and I have learned that trends are fun but they aren’t “ one size fits all “ for me they are an opportunity to try different things and find our personal style. Letting the concealer set up for a couple of minutes is necessary to keep it on my skin and not migrate to the lines under my eyes.

This video is amazing I love it…the eyeshadow point was my favourite. My eyelids are very similar to yours with the hooded double eyelid but also not deep-set at all. As a makeup newbie I always wondered why my eyeshadow looked so wrong but you explained everything very well and how it works for your features and not against it. This video is so helpful in that neither side looks particularly bad, it’s just one is a different style more suited to your features. The small changes make a big difference.

The left side of the makeup is western( asian american ) influenced makeup style, right side is korean influenced asian makeup style. Ever since kpop and their makeup style went viral I saw many asian girls ditched the ABG style looks.

Huh? Bro aside from the blush placement (and that's even stretching it since it's literally just blush placement) I don't see the right side to be korean inspired _at all._ They wouldn't even be using a black liner. Where's the evenly spaced lashes? If not, then the lash extensions? and the lightly shaded eyebrows and eyeshadow? Not in application nor color choices is it near korean. She didn't even do an aegyosal (no, the shaded and glittery undereye makeup isn't it. It's a classic technique that's been done even before kr makeup started trending - extending your eyeshadow to you undereye. She didn't emphasize it to be one therefore it's not). That and her lip combo - kr make up isn't gonna use a glitter and gloss, if anything that's western. And I'm speaking very looslely over what's western and korean makeup here, bc really there's nuances on both sides. And no this isn't me geeking out and trying to _ackshually 🤓_ kr makeup or even go against her (bc she didn't even say she's inspire by kr makeup). This is purely about your statement, I'm just appalled you got it wrong so bad.
@whitecoffee05
@whitecoffee05 Ай бұрын
@@GreySeashell-j3m Korean makeup atm is generally a softer look. The blush placement actually does matter. The left side blush is higher up so it makes her cheeks 'sharper', and her right side blush is in the middle of her cheek making it appear rounded and softer. Usually western eyeliner has a thicker wing and korean/asian eyeliner goes for a thinner wing. Also glossy lips is the trendiest thing in korea, has been for a while. Her makeup style is obviously influenced with korean trends. OP isn't wrong with their comment, i've seen a big change with asian-canadians makeup ever since Korea has been getting a lot of media coverage online.

omg thank u for this 😭 I’ve always felt like a lot of makeup didn’t look good on me so I never went this far 🥲 I usually only wear eyebrows, mascara, natural wing, then similar style of lips!! I’ll try this for sure thank you ❤

Omg thank you for this video.. I’ve learnt a lot.. especially choosing the brow shade and it really helps me cuz I have very dark hair and applying the dark shade eyebrow becomes too harsh and washed out … thanks for this helpful tip☺️💘

For real? Was it your bad side? Naah babe! You're really so so sooo gorgeous❤ Both of ur sides looks amazing!🤌🏻 The only difference which I honestly felt is that ur good side looks pretty natural, like 'nude makeup' and bad (not bad at all) looks like u have done bit makeup! Thats it!! You're so so sooo pretty, girl!!❤❤ Although I don't have enough money to buy all these products🥲 but still thanku so much for sharing all the tips so calmly and beautifully😇 Loved it alot!🥰
