I am so happy to see you continue creating! One of my favorite musicians said that creating music is the most selfish thing for them. I think it is in general true for most artists --- creating art means that you are trying to express yourself, and you have to know yourself in order to do that authentically. So this process is always a process of self-reflection and growth, no matter who is watching!
@Say_yo_jay7 ай бұрын
truth, I feel like the whole concept of content creation and being an artist is often so contradicting. it can be easy to forget that it is sometimes completely ok to create whatever you feel like creating without worrying about how it is being received from the outside. thank you
@pikeythepixie3 ай бұрын
A wise man once said " you don't create music/art YOU discover it." Think of music as a living thing. An ancient language. It's deeper then what we perceive. You channel it Thru you and that's why some amazing artists say they tapped into a high power when making their art. Think of Micheal Angelo or divinci or Salvador Dali. Or musicians like Bob Dylan who said what he made back when he was younger just came to him from channel Into it and that he couldnt do the same thing now in his older years. Because he tapped into music herself. Just like all those legendary artists did. They tapped into something much more vast and higher then themselfs. Art is beautiful for that reason. Art is subjective. One mans trash is another man's treasure. Like Kurt Cobian and alot of the rock legends with little music theory but with soul and drive and passion and feeling. Art is a feeling. A mood. Everything is art. Art is all around us. Music is hidden inside nature, the birds and the bees and the wind in the trees. It surrounds us at all times. It's within us and we discover it when we dedicate our time into listening for music/art herself to channel itself thru us. 🖤😎 Just like meditation. Mindfulness. It's all within you you just have to listen and become aware and awakened to the music and the art to show herself. As deep as it all is. It's the truth. There's different lvls of awareness. The legends like Dali and Jerry Garcia and all them tapped into it. Into the flow state. 👌

First of all, I've been creating silly video's since 2010 on different channels. I only started putting serious work out since 2022... All I've learned is that I shouldn't have taken breaks, ignore what others said, and document more of my life in general. And yeah? I'm at 350+ subs, but I'm getting messages of people that *TRULY* want to see more content. Asking me when I'm dropping again, asking about my day. It's *MORE* than I could have hoped for. This KZbin thing is a journey, and we decide where it ends, as long as we play by the rules. I think consistency, and applying what you learn over time might do the trick! Yes, luck is needed too, but way less than the other things.

Amazing stuff. It resonated a lot with my current situation, I just started posting and it feels kinda frustrating not seeing the growth I anticipated but in the same time this commitment with my self growth (if that makes sense) it is making me evolve and understand not only how communication works but also the art of video. And every video I post seems like unblocking one more level of difficulty. It feels like I'm learning to enjoy the journey beyond the consecution of the goal itself.

This video’s great! You’re so right! From when I started making videos and started wanting to have a voice and say something (in my little niche mind you) it’s been such a cool process. It feels like a journey within film making and editing and storytelling instead of the topic of modular synths. The skills that I continue to learn by doing are amazing. Not sure what I’ll use it for in future but it at the very least it leans my participation in social media to the creation side vs consumption. It definitely feels better and I’m more satisfied with less. Thanks for this! I’ll check some of your other vids too!

What’s stopping me is several reasons: it’s the bad comments I will get and I’m shy. I’m not used to speaking to many people. I was thinking of not showing my face but IDK if that will work. And I’m also thinking that people don’t listen to me in person so why will they even bother to listen to me they don’t care. Before I leave this earth one day I would like to share with everyone what I know so they will not have to go through the same mistakes

that's a beautiful message to share tho, you could do podcasts if you feel more comfortable without the camera on you, it's so true with the insecurities that come from fearing other people's judgement, my way of battling it is putting myself out there (talking to the camera is much easier for me than talking to people but eventually I will know it is all only in my head) wish you the best on your journey 🫂🩵🩵

My excuse, is that I put something like 600+ videos, and they mostly got in the single or double digit views, and I only got a handful of subscribers. Frankly the videos were garbage, so I know why I didn't get views (well there are some other theories I have, but that's another discussion). So why I haven't I made a video for 4 years, because my videos are crap. I am, however, going to try again, with maybe perhaps a better understanding of what goes into a decent video.

I am so glad to be seeing such amazing videos like this one! Allow me to add in my thoughts. In answer to your question: you make videos nobody watches because it’s your passion, it’s what you love. Most importantly, it’s how you express your creativity and love for making videos, you want to share them with the world, share them with people who feel inspired to create. You keep telling yourself that ‘who would want to watch this? There are better KZbinrs out there.’ While this is all fairly normal and common, there’s an old saying I go by: ‘Comparison is the biggest thief of joy.’ Don’t let anybody’s harsh words or unwanted comments get to you because, you got this. You are capable:) You may be small, but you will and CAN make it. I created my channel seven years ago and garnered +307 subscribers, but guess what? I’m happy. I’m happy about the fact that I’m growing, even if it’s a slow, painful process. I’m loving what I’m doing and so should you:) 🌱

You seem to have many how to and you should videos. but what is truely your art? The coolest thing i found on your channel is a shortfilm from 8 months ago. So do you still make cool shit that no one watches or do you stick to the algorithm for the views?

it's actually journaling for mental health typa content, if it ever comes across as 'teaching' it was never intentional, I'm more reminding myself than anybody else out there, helps me grow and I'm happy to have a platform to share it to, if I were to make content for the algorithm that would look completely different & my favorite art is making music 🪽

Its shameful to say a few thousand people is noone. Even a few dozen views is a bunch of people. Dont expect to have a few million views…
