Beautiful music. I was born in 64 so grew up with 70's and 80's music but on Sunday nights the only radio station that played music was 101.1 (NYC) and they only played oldies and I absolutely fell in love with the Do Wop music. I'm sure many people today would think it goofy or corny but you can't deny the incredible arrangements and vocal range. Plus it was just a nice sweet innocent time. Or seems to me like it was. Picture the Ronettes or Darlene Love all dressed nice and singing about love and broken hearts and how to get the attention of the opposite sex (which I probably can't say anymore??) VS let's say, ohhh, Cardi B ??? 😝🤮and wet pussy or blood money. I seriously thought they had let a mentally challenged person make a hip hop song and they would play it a few times. When t found out it wasn't I was surprised at what little talent it takes today to become a "Star" Zero really just a ton of luck and an incredible amount of delusion Uchh it's not even music, it's a bunch of talentless dweebs that other dweebs see on tok tok or here on KZbin and they are literally overnight sensations (for about a year then they go back into obscurity) Remember when musicians wrote songs like 7 or 8 went into a recording studio with other talented musicians paid big money for studio time and cut an "album" ? It was great. Music has absolutely definitely 110% suffered horribly because of the internet and free music because you can't even sell records, cassettes, or CD's anymore so where does the money come from? The number of "hits" and "likes" on KZbin? Now some half a moron who has other full morons surrounding him or her telling them how great they are when they stumble in at 4am tripping on molly and sit at a casino organ and spew off sophomoric "poems" about killing, how tough they are, how much money they have, how much "pussy" they get and trying way too hard to sound gangsta and hardened when in fact they're softer than baby shit. And same full on ass kissing morons telling the "artist" how good it is and how talented they are. Phew, apologies I really got on a roll there. Anyway this seems like it was a great fun era and I'd always wished I'd been born in the 50's...

She was great and badly treated by Phil Spector who never gave her the prominence she deserved.
