Why do most Animals have Tails?
Monkeys have prehensile tails, as in tails which can be used for holding as well as grabbing things.
Horses are known to have Swatter tails, as in, they use their tails to swat flies.
Some animals like the Arctic Fox use their thick furry tails to curl up, thus keeping their body warm.
Animals like Kangaroos use their tails to maintain balance.
Lastly, a Lizard's tail can easily break away, thus allowing them to run away from the clutches of a predator.
