The most basic definition of a furry is "The interest in anthropomorphic animal characters". We all spend so much time on creating and designing our own characters. There are just those that take it one step further. And there is most certainly no shame in doing so! It only shows the people's dedication and determination for being creative. The main reason people hate on something is to fit in better. I never had an issue with them, until one day when my sister was looking for a furry head because she wanted to make a costume irl, to match her Roblox avatar, the shit she stumbled across was disgusting. My issue with furry content on Roblox is that it’s WAY to easy for young kids to become exposed to the furry community, which then they will stumble across furry nsfw, which mind you, is a VERY big part of the community wether you like it or not. That’s why I don’t think it should be on Roblox. Edit: this is also the same reason I’m against Nazi/ww2 German helmets and assessories being on Roblox, because of what the communities they are from repersent. They both have no place on Roblox, and the “it’s not all of them” isn’t the issue. The issue is what those items represent. Edit: So apparently some people don’t understand the Nazi comparison I made. Both people within the Ww2 German roleplaying community’s aswell as the furry communities use the same excuses of “not all of us are bad, and use the items for negative uses. Th issue is what they repsersent. Explicit furry hats, I’m not talking anthropomorphic doge hat, bunny ears, or other animal assessories. Roblox made, I’m referring to the furry cosplay hats, are directly used in a majority of furry NSFW, and as for the German helmets, despite some role players using them for innocent intentions, just like the furry people promote what they’re wearing, and both communities open the gates for children to be exposed to harmful subject matter.

I think the reason a lot of people think most of them are bad is because it revolves heavily around identity, and when a community is focused on that it leads to more cases of sexual problems than in others. Honestly pretty W video, I like the neutral tone it takes. In my own honest words a lot of them are bad people, and as one I can easily say that a lot of them are toxic horrible people that are rude and there's a problem with preds, but there's also quite a lot of genuinely normal people that are in the fandom just because they enjoy art and stuff. I love furries but there definitely is a huge problem with over sexualizing. Too many things are permitted and easy fly under people's radars even when it's out in the open! This definitely goes for every fandom don't get me wrong but the amout of people who defend it is kinda what makes me not want to actively participate in stuff even when i have some anthro characters of my own. Plus in nsfw art the use of ANY animal genitalia is explicitly zoophilic, even on anthro characters. It's disgusting how common it is in the community and how normalized it is. id say its because a good 60% of roblox's player base are kids, and out of the furries on roblox there's a few that are fairly toxic, tho they arent the majority. so that shapes their views on furries because they assiociate the toxic behaviour with the fluffy costume (even tho people who arent furries are way more toxic from my own experience, got told they hoped to see me in a butcher shop strung up) that and older teens bringing in BS that involves like 10-30 furries (not on roblox) and lie about it being all furries. their reason to hate millions of people is because they're an impressionable audiance and will gladly take rumours to be truth and personal experience to shared as an ''all furries'' argument
