I believe that in the explanation at 1:34 on why the ship would sink has nothing to do with it's density being higher than water's and may confuse part of your audience. I believe that the actual reason is that the mass of water displaced is reduced (due to the change in volume) yet the mass of the ship remains the same, so the equation in the Law of Flotation is broken. Also, I would say that the ship's density was already higher than water's, so the density change itself wouldn´t affect flotation, but the reduction of the sumerged volume would. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. By the way, amazing video. It helped me to remember and clarify A LOT of information I had forgotten.
