Thanks for the explanation of what they are looking for on the essay portions of the Level 3. I passed June 2009's Level 1 exam. I figure the Level 2 requires a 1000% commitment to have a realistic chance of passing, which as life goes on it really gets harder to put forth that kind of effort. While my career path has since moved away from it. Nonetheless I was curious how difficult it would be to answer the essay questions if it ever came to that. Thankfully I at least read the curriculum when I tried these exams and in recent times I have paid some attention to changes/developments with the CFA program.

If you apply yourself, you no doubt will succeed on Levels 2 and 3 despite the layoff after Level 1. These exams reward a certain study process, if you follow the process and respect the time commitment then you should get your desired result. May the odds be in your favor.

@@ChalkBoardCFAPrep Thanks for the encouragement. A coworker of mine appears to have decided to undertake the program, asking about the Passport requirement. Which might be among the motivating factors that could steer me back. Yesterday I was mentioning some of my experiences on the CFA. In the meantime, I have the logs in the fire: attempting to make quick work of the Series 52 which I would need to take the Series 53 (Municipal Securities Principal) as I really top off the principal licenses. Passage of the CFA Level 1 is what made the industry players realize I likely would have an easier time passing the Series 7 than other unlicensed applicants.

doesnt Lv3 have the highest pass rate?
@ChalkBoardCFAPrep10 ай бұрын
L3 has roughly a 50% pass rate plus/minus, however you should remember that this means 50% of those candidates who succeeded in passing Levels 1 and 2. This L3 group is not as big as you think. Furthermore, the L3 pass rate includes only those people who actually sat for the exam, not those who did not show up or canceled. If those candidates were included as fails the pass rate at L3 would be even lower than the official rate announced.

True looking at it that way you do have a valid point.@@ChalkBoardCFAPrep
