It’s funny to see how even with Lizzy overcompensating for her broke ex by paying the bill at the restaurant, he still cheated and till today she is hurt by it. Now imagine how the men who build houses or buy expensive phones and bags for their girlfriends would feel if cheated on. Remember, when us men love someone we go all out, even if it means starving for days, as long as the girl is happy. For us koraa , money is a pre requisite to have in a relationship, it’s non negotiable because without money the next best option for women is only one DM away. So if we can invest in a relationship both emotionally and financially and still have our heart broken FOR FREE, then why would we even want to commit? Not to mention that there are so many other things we bring to the table beside money, protection being one of them. For example, If we go out and someone harasses our girlfriend we have a duty to fight back to protect them even if it means getting seriously injured. They can never bring that to the table. All they know is time, love and affection which is still good but its also the bare minimum. We bring a lot more to the table and it can all be rendered useless for free so commitment will always be an issue for some men. Not me tho ✌🏾
