I have a relationship with the Morrigan; and I find that if you approach her with humility and respect she'll respond in kind. I'm trying to deepen my relationship with her.

Definitely interested in transmigration of spirit, like past lives.

Thank you for this! I definitely had hesitation. I think mostly because I had a fear of my own transformation.

People fear powerful women and femme presenting people. Especially deity who have profound impact on the cycles of life and death. Thanks Jon as always.

@hardywatkins7737 In that case those deities would be lucky to have people step up to the plate and protect others where they can.

Powerful women, powerful people, are not powerful by virtue of their feminine qualities alone but also by virtue of their masculine qualities. If one favours the feminine at the expense of the masculine, one is merely half of oneself and nobody to be feared. Of course the converse is true also. Have you ever heard of the sacred marriage?

Thanks so much for this video. Over six months ago The Morrigan started showing up in my life pushing me to get into examining myself. The neopagan group I was involved in at that time told me she was a bringer of death and a dark and dangerous goddess. She didn't feel that way to me. She seemed straightforward and maybe a bit blunt but nothing of what these other people said. As I got into the stories I couldn't see where they got what they said about her. I wouldn't mess with her or course but she didn't seem dark to me. So your video really made me feel good about what my personal experience was with her. I recently finished your free 5 day The Morrigan Devotional and I loved it. Or maybe Lora put that together, thanks Lora. Love to you both.

I don't know where you're from but I currently live in the American Midwest and have found that people here generally consider anyone who is straightforward and blunt to be scary. I've had to change how I speak to live here. I imagine that most people from this area would be afraid of the Morrigan

@@grannypeacock I'm in the northeast USA. I'm very blunt myself so I know what you mean. I've always preferred people who speak their mind probably why I feel drawn to The Morrigan.

In my experiance Herself has emphasised shadow work and doing the work in general. That can be scary digging in your own shit in order to improve and hopefully become a better person for it and at times not for the faint of heart. Personally found it very rewarding but not saying it has been easy.

I remember my ex was asked to work with Her, and he experienced some negative emotions and negativity in general, and said she was dangerous, and that I should be careful. I'm so glad I took the leap and learned more about Her and listened to Her call. And I believe She can be dark and difficult, but it's only when She needs you to do that work. That is my experience anyways. But I've always been drawn to "dark" things, and that's open for interpretation. There is light and dark to everyone and everything, there is no one or the other. Balance in all things. And yes, after having learned from all of you, I understand that all Irish deities are as complex and multifaceted as us humans are- both in similar and different ways. Thank you for another video, Jon.

Thanks for the video Jon. For me ever since I was little I was drawn to her & as well as a couple other men in my family. It's strange or a funny coincidence because at one point we were all in some branch of the military either Ireland or the US

Without really knowing anything about her, other than that she is an Irish mythological figure and something perhaps accociated with darker aspects, i dreamed of a shapeshifting so called 'Celtic' warrioress one night. I was walking throught the woods with a shovel (mining the unconscious?) and came across a bear eating a corpse of an animal, i surprised and startled it and it attacked me, shifting form into a powerful, seven foot tall warrioress wielding an axe. I barely managed to keep her at bay with my shovel against her chest above the breasts, and i cut her with the blade also a little. I told her i didn't mean to startle her and didn't intend any harm and so she calmed down a bit and we started to talk. I didn't recall the dialogue but she was distrusting of men, towns and cities and basically lived on the fringes away from humans like some kind of wild woman - hermit. Upon waking i just had a hunch that this might be the Morrigan, so i got online and did some research to find out about the morrigan ... ok sure enough she's a shapeshifter and accociated with battle. One thing that was interesting was an encounter with her and Cú Chulainn, who cuts her three times, and of course i remember i cut her in the dream, and so you begin to realise how dreams very much tie in with myth and how myths come alive in your dreams (and waking life) because myths are very much about humanity and our storys and challenges and progress.

Why do you go from saying "you need the Lore" to describing a dangerous God. She is dangerous and so are all the others. I asked Morrigan to help my grandmother pass gently into death. My grandmother was in kidney failure. My father called to tell me they were headed to the Emergency Room with her and when they took her to the back she laid down and just went with 0 issues. My father thought it was weird I did not. She is or can be death.
