Yeah the 1/43 Bburago f1 cars sell pretty quick but they’re 7-9 vs 25. It’s not gonna sell as quick

The large scale models went away because of the Ferrari license. At the time, the large scales were only Ferraris and they made them because they had the exclusive license and no one else could. It didn't really have to do with the product itself. These new 1/43s are solid for the price. They slot nicely between Bburago which are designed for play and much more expensive and fragile collector grade models. Is there a market for them? I don't know, but I'll be buying some of them.

@@venglomarci Comparing them what? If you compare to other 1/43: Nicer 1/43 is $60-100 USD. Lower end 1/43 is less than $5 USD. At $25, the Hot Wheels are closer to the high end on detail and closer to the low end on price. They are a good deal when compared to other 1/43 options.

The 1:43 scaled pullbacks look amazing. And they are only like $10. My thing is, it’s more desirable simply because it has hot wheels original designs, like LoLux, Bone Shaker, and Twin Mill. I’d buy 1:18 and 1:43 if they were Hot Wheels fantasy, because then there is a point to it. Otherwise other brands do it better.

I think you have a point there.. if they made 1/43s of cars that other brands dont make, people will buy it! Im curious to see what a 1/43 Deora II or Kool kombi would look like.. lol!

Personally I like the idea and the cars, but 25 dollars for 1 is just too much 😩 10-15 dollars would’ve been a better price. Great video D!

$25 for a 1:43 scale model at this level of detail and quality is very good. This is a completely different market and there’s no comparison with 1:64

@@THE_HW_MASTERS I have both releases from the first mix, and they are very good for the price. Plus that there aren’t any other manufacturer making them in 1:43 scale and at this price. I collect almost exclusively in 1:43 scale.

$25 is still cheap for 1/43 scale, and for the details it's not too bad albeit Hotwheels can still improve the quality control, I support their incentive to tap into the market and teach kids of a more mature diecast scale. Hobby grades 1/43 is the most detailed scale after 1/18 and they often cost on average of $40 and even above $90 made by European and Japanese brands (Schuco, Minichamps, Norev, HobbyJapan, Kyosho, Iginition Models etc) They offer extremely detailed interior details that look like 1/18 scale that most people never see because they don't sell them in typical toy shops, while the 1/43 car is small enough to fit in your hands. It's quality over quantity, trust me owning 1 detailed 1/43 scale is worth way more than owning some 20 toy car Hotwheels 😅

1:43 scale is very popular in Europe, although not in America or Asia. They have good level of details for the price and good selection you won’t find in any other brands in this price category. There’s nothing wrong in HW a trying to diversify their offering.

I agree, hobby grades European and Japanese brand 1/43 scales are extremely detailed especially in the interior components, and they are much smaller than 1/18 making them very practical. This guy is too deep on Hotwheels his entire life to understand that people collect 1/43 because premium brands who makes 1/18 also make 1/43 as they can easily transfer the 1/18 details smaller to a 1/43 while 1/64 is simply just too small to fit interior details. There's a reason why official car dealership sells replica 1/43 & 1/18 and not 1/64 models of their cars.

I do get the point , I would rather collect the 1 : 64 cars instead of the 1 : 43 cars .The 1:64 cars the price is Ok . This morning me and my family went to get breakfast , we went to buy some bread in a shop . And I notice they sell diecast cars but the brand isn't hotwheels . I saw a few 1 : 43 and 1 : 18 scale cars and a few of them are like RM40 , RM50 , RM60 and soo on . I came from Malaysia .

Bro i bought the 1:43 scale hotwheels and damn they are beautiful but best of all the wheels spin much better than many of all this other 1:43 brands. Personally i hope they continue selling a lot more of this scale as it is my absolute favorite. I think it is the best because they can literally pack so much detail in 1:43, way more than 1:64 and the car is still small enough that it fits anywhere and they are easy to handle.

1:22 simply cause 1/64 cars prices in EU are the same of 1/43 (it's funny but it is), so at this point is better to have a 1/43 car with more details and acrylic case too.

I have a collection of 1:43 model rally cars. But it's different as they are actual models with high details kept in a display case and not for little kids to throw into their neighbours backyard. There can be a difference in 1:43 and hotwheels is in the market of throwing in backyards lol

Ive only been interested in purchasing the 43 scale Nissan R34 "Nismo parts" pale green model, purely because its a Nissan R34 that looks great. If it doesn't come up to standard then I won't keep it or might just sell it on for a small profit. I quite like the look of the Welly 1/32 or 36 scale but overall its just because of the car itself.

Î collect pretty much all scales, admittingly mainly 1:18. For a 1:43 the HW models are very bad considering that magazine models at an objectively higher detail level can be bought starting at 9€. This is especially sad considering that the past Elite 1:43 models were of a much higher standard than HWs current 43 lineup, showing that HW is indeed capable of producing higher quality models, but is refusing to do so. Also the former Elite lines downfall was when the prices got jacked up. Many people abandoned the Elite line due to being overpriced for pricing standards back then. Then they lost the Ferrari license which was their main theme with their Elite line. After that they mainly produced movie cars. You can tell that they lost interest with the last few Elite releases by their lack of quality

The magazine models from the likes of Altaya, Delprado are lower quality. I have them all and the HWs are much better. Also the Countach and Z06 are not available from other brands in this price range.

@@Jedimaster36091 i disagree on that one, the HWs have much worse paint quality, worse looking tire threads and the windows look awful. Also the window frames aren't painted. There is also a magazine model series made in cooperation with Spark, many of these can be had for less than 20 a piece. Many even for a tenner

@@The-Inda I just took another look at my HW Countach and beside the lack of window frames paint, I don’t see any issues with the paint and the tires thread look fine. Mind you, I haven’t looked with a magnifier glass, nor compared it to the Looksmart version at 5 times the price. Given the model unavailability from other brands in this price range, and the quality, I am fully satisfied with HW offering. If I am to be picky, I wish for a display case to be included, so I can stack it with my other models.

First : if you touch these premiums you can feel so so heavy to compare any other same size of diecast car! Two: BBURAGO feels cheap compare to HW premium and the HW premium much more realistic Theree: In UK costs £18 but some people cannot afford it. Sorry about it. You hate something what you never even seen and touched in real life Forth : I stopped collect a small HW cars because almost impossible to buy treasure hunt or Super TH. This premiums more expensive but it has higher chance to resale. 99% of store visiting i ended up only mainline hot wheels cars!
