I spent 7 years living in the Philippines The truth of the matter more often than not Filipinas who come from the province come from families where the parents have 8 or 9 kids. 2 or 3 never make it, 2 or 3 become useless 2 or 3 end up supporting the rest of the family siblings, parents, uncles and aunts etc etc. As a foreigner you are their meal ticket. As a young Filipina she is that hot girl you never got in highschool Safer bet would be to go to the foreigner owned bars and bar fin.e a bar gi.rl Because you are putting yourself in danger in the Provinces when you date a Filipina and things don't work out. Because now you are looking at marriage ain't no such thing as casual dating in the Philippines

Edit: To us in the Mainland SEA, the Philippines is like an outlier. So remote. They look like SE Asians but their culture and geography are nothing sinicized/Indianized. Certainly not a Political Correct subject. Why do many men desire Asian females. I think that is the basic question. lets put the age aside for now. 1st True, on average Asian Woman tend to maintain their figure. Even the 40th and 50th many still are not overweight. 2nd True, Feminine, also true. As Asian woman in general are more family oriented and traditional they are more feminine and in the original sense. 3rd Traditional, many Asian woman prefer the traditional role of taking care of the house and family rather then going to work. yes they do go to work, but out of necessity not by desire. 4th Looks. Yes, Due to the previous mentioned trend to stay thin and also their desire to keep their man they tend to keep themselves good looking. But a note on personality. Asian woman vary allot by country in their traditions and behaviors. As for the age gap. I find that most Asian woman desire a stable and financial secure option, and thereby marrying a older guy is often accepted. Though I would say the gap is usually 10 to 20 years as a norm. It is not unheard of to see the gap higher, but its a rarity then. Of course in rural areas of China or in the Philippines there is an economical factor. Younger girls that come from economically challenged places tend to look for financial security first and looks and personality later in a partner. That is just the way it is. There are considerations on this. Certainly now, when you are still fit and active the age difference will not make much difference, but once age catches up and you start to be more limited a younger woman may not want to take care of you and look for other options. This is just the reality of live. I was very lucky with my Chinese wife. She is very good looking and very slim. If you look at her most westerners would estimate her age to be in the late 30s to early 40s. But in fact she is 1 year younger then me, so 59. I was lucky to have meet her because having somebody closer to your age makes growing old together a more certain thing. But Gweilo, you do you. If the young lady is happy and you are happy, then what else is there. Just be aware that these type of relationships on average do not work out for growing old together, but certainly you have a good chance of 5 to 10 years of happiness. And in this uncertain world, that's not bad.

Why have you forsaken China? From the outside, there are indications a lot is going on there. Around the world, people are commenting on the lack of Chinese tourists. The drop in Chinese tourist spending is $130 billion. China is less connected to the outside world. There has been a drop of > 40% in international flights. Dozens of Chinese cities are no longer reachable by direct flights from China. It would have been great if you remained in China to reassure the rest of the world that all is fine there.
