i used to own beats eps and they sounded a lot better that just the normal apple earbuds (when i was still a apple fanboy, android is better) and you get the beats brand and style points but later on when they had broken i bought the cosair hs50s and the difference was insain. they were al lot lounder than the beats, clearer than the beats in the middle range and had over ear design so no more sore ears when i used them for a long time. people who buy beats either dont know and alternatives and think there the only/best step upo from earbuds or just want to be cool and have the beats logo on thir head.

I have the Beats Solo 3 Wireless and they are amazing! They have a connection wire so you can you is on devices without Bluetooth (such as a Nintendo Switch or a Desktop PC). I honestly think they are better for people who have other people in their house (they have something similar to sound proof) they also have a W2 chip to!

I only own a pair of Beats earbuds because they were the best lightning connection, helmet friendly ear buds out there... and that’s pretty sad to say. The problem with most wireless is they’re not always ready, and you can’t control them with a helmet on. But I actually like the Beats, the double cone tip is loud, it requires less than 50% volume, and has 0 distortion because of that. The big tips allow more bass because it’s not being driven so deep in your ear, but require more volume, and distort around 60-75%. But ALL the tips are amazing at taking shape, and block out the wind.

You didn't try the UrBeats 3's. I have them and they are fantastic for 80 dollar ear buds. The bass is punchy yes, but they don't overpower the rest of the frequency range. Plus, the highs are very clear and bright, and the mids are very clear as well. They are, in my opnion, the best sounding beats for the price.

Harris Zeboki Go check out the Studio 3 thread on Head-Fi. You’ll be very surprised by the number of comparisons to the m50x and the similarities in the frequency graph. Point being, the Studio 3 sounds very similar to the m50x. Though to be fair, I didn’t like my m50x very much, and returned it. Same for the Studio 3.

Actually surprised Skullcandy Crusher Wireless weren't used to compare. They are only $129 and from what i've heard from folks, they have VERY hard hitting bass. I am currently using the wired versions and the bass on those are very good but have heard the wireless ones are even more powerful. You can turn the bass up and down with a slider so if it's too much bass, you can adjust it.

I listened to about 20 different headphones at a store last week. Out of all of them I enjoyed the Beats Studio 3. Punchy Bass and good mid and highs. Maybe its the music I listen to. My friend listens to a lot of rock he prefers the Sennheiser Momentum. Everyone is different. Oh yeah my Beats Studio 3 were on sale for $199.00usd

I have listened to both the Sony WH-1000XM2 and the Sony h.ear on 2 Wireless. The h.ear os are a bit cheaper than the 1000XM2, but you only really notice it in terms of the ANC (which is just slightly less efficent) and the configuration options. The h.ear ons are definetly worth a look if you want the 1000XM2, but don't have the full $350 for them...

Ænigmatic Productions not really. By the way the beyerdynamic dt 240 pro claims to be an over ear by beyer, it just barely counts though. Also that's only a $99 pair of headphones, on ears at that price is a bit more reasonable. But even by those that praise these many who I've seen review them tend to point at over ears to buy instead. Have your ears crushed by the headphones just isn't that comfortable which is why very few high end headphones are on ear. Even the Audeze Sine claims to be over ear as well but that's another people would say isn't.

Skylancer727 yeah but after having a loaner pair from beyerdynamic, they sound phenomenal. Easily one of the best headphones I've heard under $200. Even use them to test the low end of my mixes

Ænigmatic Productions I personally use a mix of the ATH m50x and the MSR7 (m50s have stronger base while the MSR7 is more comfortable and has better instrument seperation). Taste in headphones is really subjective and you will even find yourself switching back and forth, but comfort is a different thing. Being able to set at my computer for 10 hours straight without feeling any pressure is fantastic. This is one of the reason the Stax 007 and 009 are more popular than the L700 even though those are multiple times more expensive and don't really much better if at all. I never recommend on ears to my friends purely because of this. If you use your headphones for the 30 minute bus rides than I see nothing wrong with in ears or on ears (depending on the price) but even still comfort is king with headphones, that's why everyone who reviews them checks that before even putting sound through them.
