I just love how Liam could just post one funny phrase in all caps on Twitter and have thousands of people flocking to him and asking him random questions and he'll ACTUALLY answer them.

The fact that so many people always take Liam too serious is so ridiculous to the point it amuses me lol! Like the man could joke about hating ice cream and people would caption it with "Liam Gallagher expresses poignant hatred on the well-loved dessert". The next thing you know someone'll actually comment "How dare he" or "Who does he think he is?" or whatever. IT'S CRAZILY HILARIOUS

I love how Radiohead lives in Noel's head rent-free without even wanting to. I guess it takes all sorts to make a world. as a fan of Radiohead I do kind of agree that Thom is a bit obsessed with the gloom mongering and does a lot of sad slow burners that come from him overthinking and secretly taking it out on the listeners. Now that I kind of outgrew my teenage angst, Radiohead's music kind of puts me in a downer mood that I dont want to be in. (except In Rainbows!)
@Krysiss

I feel the same really, I can appreciate how good Ok Computer and Kid A are, but everytime I listen to them they just ruin my whole mood because they're so depressing. In Rainbows feels like its own seperate thing.

Oasis was Liam's band. They were going nowhere until Noel joined and with his God given talent, whipped the band into shape, wrote the songs, engineered the Sound and immediately created a product that in the beginning was so outstanding and fresh, they created a "Beatlemania" style of fame which I believe was truly warranted at the time. Yes Liam was an, Ian Brown wannabe but people could get passed that because they appealed to a much wider market fan base than the Stone Roses. The problem which caused the sibling rivalry was, because Noel Gallagher wrote the songs, he earned a massive, Lion's share of the Royalties. The first two Albums released were both masterpieces. The band could do no wrong. Their gigs sold out in minutes of going on sale. I saw the band at Glastonbury 95 ,Knebworth 96, Earls Court 97 and at Reading 2000. The worst thing the band did was to sign an album deal with Sony where they had to produce a load of Albums within contractual restraints and churn out processed muzak within deadlines. The first two Albums were raw, organic and authentic. The subsequent production was bland, repetitive, sterile, lukewarm similar sounding crap. The magic had gone. At Reading Festival 2000 at least one quarter of the audience including myself left the crowd to go and see a new upcoming band in a tent nearby, called Muse. Something unthinkable 5 years earlier.

Thom not liking oasis is not because he’s from a different class, he doesn’t get it because his taste is wildly different than the guys in oasis and vice versa. (And before detractors butt in- there are plenty of rich kids who did some version of the kind of music oasis play and plenty of working class kids who ended up doing something Radiohead esque) let’s not make something about class that isn’t about class. There’s enough tribalism in the world as it is.

I like oasis' hits and appreciate the energy and optimism of their sound now, and I didn't grow up during their hey day so mostly I'm just looking back. At least personally, Liam reminds me of drunken dickheads and bullies that abused and mocked me and my friends in the past, that in many ways I turned to music to escape from. He's pretty harmless, but yeah there's an aspect to his attitude that's pretty repellent if you grew up like I did. I wouldn't say I hate him at all, but his shtick has aged badly I think

No one hates Liam Gallagher and most people grew up seeing him as a hero but people hate Thom yprke and Chris Martin as they are pretentious frauds who have contributed to killing rock n roll! What working class will want to pick up a guitar when they are seen as the biggest! Imagine a kid on a a estate saying I want to be like Thom and Chris or instead they can listen to rap! I don't think people realise how bad Radiohead and Coldplay etc damaged rock music! I grew up in 90's and only oasis were accepted but head and play you would be laughed at for liking and that's fair as there music means nothing and so simple, it's basically let's use loads of unusual chords, no melody, sing weird and critics' will love us but people won't! Whilst Noel is using songs like sad song as an extra FFS! If you have a guitar now because of them clowns you also seem like a clown! Rock n roll become music for the upper and middle class and because of that it will never have heart or cool or real! The lower working class kids now listen to crap music but guitar music is also crap because of Radiohead and Coldplay!!
