Basketball is a team sport. No player is getting carried to the finals. They all go to the finals or win championships. If JB JT were getting carried then so was Lebum by Wade, Bosh, Kyrie and Love. So was Carry by Durant, Klay, Wiggins, Poole, Green. Players getting carried are comments made by those who are ignorant about nature of team sports and I’ll go a step further and say they probably never competed in any sport.

I would like to know who carried them to the first three ECF's. Al Hortford? They had some good player on those teams, but when push came to shove, they either did not perform or was straight up injured during the playoffs. The only two players that has been consistently available for all those ECF runs (as in playing the whole season) and being mostly great has been.....Tatum and Brown. So I guess they have been carried....by eachother?

And especially on Boston. I don’t get the Tatum hate though. The dude is so quiet. Yet people love people who are obnoxious like jimmy butler… who made it to the finals and lost. Also this isn’t a super team. The warriors with Durant were a super team. This is just one of the best two way teams we’ve seen in nba history. It was built slowly. Not over night like Lebrons heat or the 08 Celtics and people should just appreciate it and all the smart moves the Celtics organization has made to get here. Most people hating on Tatum and the Celtics on the internet couldn’t make a lay up in the NBA

We have more titles this century than any other city and it's not even close. This includes cities with up to 8 pro teams. Every team has won at least one title this century. Patriots x6, Red Sox x4, Bruins x1 and Celtics about to get x2 this century. Every other year we pretty much have a team in the finals and for 20 yrs every team was capable of competing for a title. Our teams have dominated the sports world for over 2 decades and with that success comes the hate.

People forget the first ring the warriors won involved every team they faced in the playoffs suffering injuries to at least 1 key player including Kyrie and K. Love in the Finals, do we act like they only have 3 rings? NO, they have 4. people will eventually accept that the Celtics won fair and square, but they'll kick and scream for a little while because Boston has had so much success in the last 20 years people are tired of them winning. In 22 the Celtics where below .500 at Christmas and had a harder playoff path to the finals then the Warriors. And also Wiggins turned into Kawhai Leonard for a series and has never been seen before or since. They simply ran out of gas at the end. But of course, that is never mentioned in the context of them "choking" that year. To an eight year dynasty with all their main guys still being great. Oh. And Tatum was 24 years old. Younger then Luka is now.

They drafted Brown and Tatum and Holiday was pretty much an even trade for Smart and porzingis is good but I wouldn't call him a super star by no means and no team really wanted him because he's always injured. They were REBUILDING WITH RANDOM PIECES in a Conference with the Greatest Basketball player of all time IN HIS PRIME. A bunch of young guys and misfits took LeBron fucking James to GAME 7 of the ECF. Celtics might be hated but the Mavs get routinely underestimated. Against the Clippers it was said to be a toss up. And they were the lesser favorite to the #1 Thunder and Timberwolves because of their defense. Tatum side step 3 pointers is why I don’t like him and I’m a huge Celtics fan he really just be jacking up shots like the game don’t be on the line recently he started to drive to the basket more which is exactly what I thought he wouldn’t been doing so he’s starting to grown on me (pause) I’m a big Jaylen brown fan hopefully they don’t choke this one away

New York Knicks was also a team hated because of their fans, but that team was terrific in the playoffs...I'm a fan of Luka's game but Celtics play better basketball with their basketball movement and collective defense.

I don't hate the Celtics. I do hate the Lakers-and a couple other Western Conf. teams. My feelings are more "sick of". So I am sick of this endless praising/obsession with the Larry Bird (as opposed to the Bill Russel) Celtics. Sick of how fucking crazy SOME Celtics fans are, sick of how RACIST (yes!) some of them are. Also increasingly, sick of the whole "Luka vs. Jason" narrative- because it really isn't fair to anyone-especially Tatum-who is a very skilled player and a nice guy-who happens to not be the best #1 option compared to Luka. While it would be nice for the Celtics to have one more chip than the Lakers, I'd really rather have a completely different team win it. It is ironic that the Celtics could get taken down by "White Savior" Luka... along with Kyrie! And trying to be positive- I like that a big part of this story is Kyrie's "redemption"-although that may cause certain heads to explode. So.. I hate the "official" NBA media, certain racist and/or ignorant and or drunk fans- (many of who just happen to be Celtic supporters) and I'm bored with how great the 1980s were. Certain Celtic team members-Horford, Tatum and Holiday-I actually like, and I respect/don't hate the Celtics organization and it's history-especially during the 1960s.

The reason why I hate the Celtics is because I do not want them to win their 18th ring. I have never seen the Celtics win a ring before and this will be the first time. I hope they lose.
