Seems like the first thing man did when he sinned was blame someone else. In fact in Genesis 3 when God asks Adam if he ate of the tree He forbid him to eat, Adam's response is, "The woman YOU gave me, gave me to eat and I did eat." Never mind he was standing there the whole time and didn't use his priestly role as husband over his wife to intervene. And so we are always blaming God. What's incredible, is that we not only complain because God doesn't intervene, but we complain when He does. "How can God be a loving God and order the Israelites to wipe out every man, woman, child, and animal, of the country they were invading?" A little research shows these nations had rites of human sacrifice, specifically child sacrifice. If God doesn't chastise these countries, He's a weak or uncaring God. If He does, He's a monster. I suggest people stop blaming God and start looking at how WE deserve His wrath, but instead He sent His only Son to die that we might live. For each one of us God intervened that we would not feel His wrath, but we have to receive His mercy. That part is on us.

I'm a newly converted Christian from atheism. This explanation is the best and most in line with scripture, logic and reasoning. I agree with every word this wise gentleman has said. It is true to say most of us absolutely ignore the God who created us and the world, and only when things go wrong do we turn to Him, and usually with blame. Such a terrible state we are in.

Its not the good answer. Free will does not explain natural disaster or random accidents. God allows evil for his glory. I think he is content with the fact that the manifestation of evil makes the glory of his kingdom even more glorious. Everything have been made for him.

Welcome to the fold. I’m thanking the Lord for your relationship with God. And you’re right- the human heart is lost and wicked. Thank God that through Christ Jesus, we can become a new creation with softened hearts toward our creator. He will not let us go!

@@Cryptogab94 But scripture says Lucifer is the god of this world, so that would imply that God has no jurisdiction here volunteerily. God can Intervene and at times I think angels are allowed to intervene. Our free will and our conduct here in this realm presently is what will be judged, this is why judgement will commence. It makes since to me in that sins introduction in the world repelled god. If scripture says god is all loving and perfect that would mean sin is the opposite and the two cannot intertwine. I think your statment is insightful and makes total sense when applying it to this realm but within the spiritual plane god and the heavenly host are not of this realm only lucifer and the fallen because they all fell from grace and consiquintly declared ruling over our domain, hence why people say spiritual war that is because its happening at present and it's perpetual. God and his heavenly host our defending our honor and us but we are given free will to make decisions.

Original sin. We’re cursed because of our own sinful nature. The only reason anything good happens to anybody is common grace. But there is also such thing as saving grace, reserved for those who believe. God knows the best way to bring perfect healing, and sometimes that means allowing bad things to happen in order to bring us closer to Him in the long run. Look at the example of Lazarus. What good does it do anybody for God to heal our illnesses and broken bones if we’re still destined for hellfire? Isn’t this a bit shortsighted? If the only time we go to God is when bad things happen, don’t we incentivize God to allow bad things to happen? After all, the goal of the gospel is to bring us to a saving knowledge of Him, that all who believe may live. Don’t lay up your treasures in Heaven, where thieves and insects destroy. Lay up your treasure (and well-being) in Heaven

I disagree completely. You make God out to be a man. God does as He pleases and all things that happen are in accordance to His will. This is a fallen world, so bad things will happen. Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Dear Michael Pearl. I have loved my Creator and Savior for decades and I still have yet to find an answer to this question, " God promises to shield us, to protect us, to "cover us with feathers even" and I still wait for that to be evident! I see many children under an age of knowledge, killed and/or abused, and wonder "where is Gods protection, shield, love? " Can you help me, my friend ?
