Why Does God Take the Ones We Love...?

Today we're looking at why the ones we love, the good people, are taken, seemingly without cause. We're also going to learn to trust God, and even though we sometimes may feel cheated, we have to remain faithful that He knows what He's doing. So, tell me what you think and whether or not you agree with my interpretation!

I tell myself God needed my bf more then me but we knew eachother all our lives 41 years we was only together 9 months before he died he was, still is, & will forever be the love of my life. This doesn't help me or the parents of a 17 year old girl at all. She wasn't ready. She knew and loved God but how is it Fair to her Parents. They lost their only child. And this is just one of many.

Hi! I’m a teacher and my 5 year old student died after a long stay in the hospital with an epilepsy disorder. I’m struggling to cope with how God can take away such a small child. Any advice?

I'm sorry to hear that. Catastrophe strikes everywhere, but it doesn't have to be a tragedy. We all live with catastrophes that surround our lives, but it's our response to those that can turn the catastrophe to either a tragedy or something that can bring people closer together. Perhaps you can use this catastrophe to bring your class closer together. Maybe this can be an uplifting time, not a time that crushes the soul. Again, I am so sorry that this happened, but if people have a stronger bond after a terrible situation, then at least something positive came from said catastrophe.

Everyone born will die. Time is like a temporary visa for us living on earth, which is our temporary place. Think of it that we are all just tourists here, and one day we'll hopefully go home, to our real home with God. My son has gone home too, it's kinda sucks not having "vacation" here together anymore, but I know he went home to the best and happiest home anyone could ever wish for. That is my faith, and out of love I'm happy with it knowing he is with God, and for the God's promise we all will be together again I have my hopes.

God does not “ take” people. He receives them. Satan is the author of death and disease. When people begin to think that God, after He has already expressed his divine will, takes people, it leads to bitterness and doubt. Remember, the god of this world isn’t God. It’s Satan, because man gave ownership over to him. That’s why we have death and illness, God explicitly says he would have no one perish. God is not a man that He can lie. God is Love. We live under a shroud, a fog of evil.,Where God’s divine mercy occasionally penetrates. But for those times when horrible things happen, that fog, created by man’s wholesale disobedience and free will, acts against God’s purpose.

Well explian this all I want is my cat back I don't want heaven I don't want my body or my soul all I want is my cat and yet he took him away, he gave me guitar pick, on said pick it states, everyone that calls on the name of the lord well be saved and I have called many times and my cat is still not back I even tried to sell my soul to Saiten and still no results guess he didn't want it the gift made me a believer but I don't understand and don't want to live anymore the only reason I'm still here is because I would feel bad about making my mom sad , the reason I no longer feel like living is because there is no point, and maybe if I die ill be able to see him again, so when she's gone I'm gone too

You say there's no point to living, but you also state that causing your mother any pain would be unbearable to yourself. Is that not a reason to live? Terrible things happen to everyone, such is the nature of life. You can't change that, but you CAN change how you act. Try acting as if EVERYTHING does matter. Your smallest actions, from what you decide to eat and how long you sleep every day, can take on true meaning. Find something you're good at and pursue that. Your life is only meaningless when you arbitrarily declare it so. So don't. Be stronger than that which afflicts you. Imagine who you could be and aim single mindedly at that.

It’s bad theology to say the Lord took my loved ones. He does not, he receives them. Satan is the author of death and disease. Only two people were ever “ taken”. Enoch and Elijah.

I hate god. He took my mom away when I was 5. I’m 12 now. How do I even go on without my mom. I hate everyone who is happy with both their mom and dad, why couldn’t it be me? I was told god wanted to end people’s suffering(my mom was sick), if that’s the case why couldn’t he keep her alive and heal her. It’s so unfair.
