Is it a stretch to say that if HRV decline is due to mitochondrial density, that Zone 2 training could help stave off decline? This would be due to the mitochondrial activity boosted by the training protocol.

Correction from the cardiologist- QRS Complex is the depolarization, not peak contraction! Contraction happens afterwards - somewhere during T Wave or before T Wave (T Wave is already repolarization).

I am 63 live in UK my Vo2 is 42, train hard , I am lean 94kgs 6ft 1. Strong , full of energy . HRV is awful 😢

My HRV drops for a few days after a heavy exercise day and if I eat my last meal too late in the day.

Rate of guessing about cause and effect way too high to have made HRV a thing to monitor

Last I checked Grounding is one word. Go back to 1st grade......or even better learn about grounding. I know...tough for a 1st grader.

At 57…bigger ain’t better for heart. I’m right behind you at 56. Used to be a lean 255 Now keep it 210-215 and toned. Have deep cardio.

Then hit ? Muscle mass for age and bone density.lol.protien would have to drop too fa,. never be 215...be ill. Oh well.fact! Can't live for ever and rather go bang! than have my ass wiped for me 💪👍
