NO, It very much depends on the inclusion but as an example, if it was the choice of including the latest HDMI vs a little increase in cost, without a second thought, I want HDMI on all HI-FI equipment I buy and the problem with customer based surveys is that I as a potential customer Won't buy an Amp or Receiver that doesn't include HDMI so therefore my view isn't taken into account. My only question I am interested in asking is, does it include the latest HDMI and USB C or not. I Love my music but 95% of my music source is my computer and want the option to connect a Blu-ray player via HDMI.

I've been subscribed and have watched for years and I just want to say I'm sorry you both have to deal with the utter stupidity of people's opinions; the hate towards Kristi that keeps her offscreen, and the people that whine over whether Kristi is part of a video of not. There's going to be times where videos will be different for certain reasons. I find it sad you have to take time to explain trivial things. Here's kudos from a large, silent majority of us who never/rarely comment, but just watch and enjoy what you both give us. @@KristiWright I was maybe a bit harsh regarding the "Kristiwhiners", but if I may explain further; it's very cool that you, Kristi (deservedly) have fans given all the work you do and your opinions on the videos despite Andrew being the face of the channel. I know there are people who will think because you're off camera you don't matter/contribute. That's obviously not true, and if people watch your older videos, they would see and realize how you slowly added more to the channel over the years. I just think it's ridiculously juvenile to think that if Kristi missing from a video = marital problems. Viewers need to realize you guys are real humans who have a life outside of this hobby and not read too much into things. I hope my comment will encourage the many of us who normally stay quiet to come forward and show support and appreciation for all you both do, and how you both try and make things better for us all.

I think the Kristi picture while she speaks is a great idea but it going in and out and taking up half the screen is a bit jarring Maybe it could just be a semi transparent "Now Playing" watermark type icon on a bottom corner that becomes more solid when she speaks. Just my opinion

I dig this format. I do look for HDMI connections on a lot of devices. Mostly for that convenience factor with remotes but really good connection to devices for versatility either now or in the future.

I LOVE Kristi's input! She doesn't just parrot what you say, and I enjoy the back-and-forth. As far as the CNX100 goes, I'm really not interested in a streamer , not right now anyway. What I really want is a unit that allows me to load up all of my CDs/mp3s so that I have easy access. If that requires a unit that has both features that is fine, and I think I've see units before but they were way too expensive, IMO. Maybe you guys know of something out there that I haven't seen? I believe Eversolo may have a unit that I can add memory to in order to store my own music.

TOTALLY AGREE about not wanting to use my phone as a remote! As audiophiles, we're not supposed to like stuff that gets in the way of what we're watching or listening to. Having to fumble through multiple apps or a bunch of remotes just to pause or adjust the volume is so last century. I want a super simple remote that has play, pause, and volume, and that's about it, so I can quickly hit the "10 second rewind" button when somebody mumbles through another line. Also, how about "KWAR UNPLUGGED"? You may have to steal a license from a small liberal arts college in Iowa, but I have confidence in both of you. Plus, Kristi gets top billing. It's a win-win.

Not gonna lie, Trash Talk would be a great name for this segment. The "trash talk" (I know its not really trash talk) about brands, people, and experiences (REL, Devore Fidelity, etc.) is often my favorite parts of the monthly live stream. It really shows the humanity (good and bad) of this hobby. That said, maybe an alternative title could be "Listening Fatigue"

This was great! I think I learned more in this video than in many others combined. I like your comments on volume matching, XLR vs RCA, built-in vs. separate DACs, the pros and cons of streamers, and the point of HDMI for remotes. It felt authentic, less like an infomercial. Re title, maybe "post script"? From a marketing perspective, though, trash talk will get more clicks. LOL!

I like the casual discussion!! A chance to cover a variety of topics where a dedicated video may not be needed. True about volume matching, I think it was in an interview with Paul Barton where he noted how sensitive we are to volume differences. From what I recall, he said just a 0.25db differential is enough for us to think the louder one is "better". Funny you mention balanced connections. I was surprised when the balanced output on my Topping D70 was a smudge lower. I can't hear a difference. Keep it up!

Appreciate the insight about separates. I have a Sony 5000 es and I’m in the process of upgrading my system ( speakers, turntable, power amp, etc ) and thinking about getting a streamer for hi-res 2 channel listening. So your comment about volume and our perception that we are hearing ‘better’ sound struck me. Definitely will dig in and do proper research especially if it will save me from purchasing something I don’t need.

I did not say it on the Cambridge vid, but I did miss hearing Kristi's thoughts "Straight from the source" on that one. I did have a completely unrelated thought though. Look into getting an eye wear sponsor. Ooooo or sell out x% off your glasses for ad space. Things are tough out there ya gotta look for every way to get that chedda! Just a thought. Thank you for this and the previous review and comments about the new CXN 100. I own a V2 and very much like it. I don't really need to upgrade, but lack of HDMI is a check in the "no" column, anyway. I'd like to be able to echo the now-playing display to an external screen, regardless of the input. Am i correct? Would that be another advantage of the HDMI port? Nice format. The title will figure itself out.
