In my case I had a job that involved traveling to new cities and countries to various studios all the time while living out of a suitcase. I couldn't imagine getting so serious with a woman with that kind of nomadic lifestyle, and the few times I tried lead to painful breakups over long distance. I actually wanted to marry my high school sweetheart but she ended up getting together with another guy after my first job opportunity that required me to work in Berlin just six months after I started working there, and that was quite a devastating heartbreak that took me some years to get over. We had been together all through high school and university and I actually had dreams of marrying her and she indulged in them saying she would get a passport and travel the world with me, but that didn't work out. Meanwhile whenever I moved to a new city, it was much easier to find something very manageable by hanging out with fun girls just looking for a good time instead of a wedding ring, sometimes even just picking up girls in night clubs and bars if I wasn't having luck elsewhere. I didn't risk any devastating heartbreaks that way. When I got close to 30 though, I was actually getting tired of the traveling itself. It was kind of jarring having to say goodbye to all the friends I made in a city every few months. So I picked a spot (Madrid), bought a house, rejected job opportunities that required traveling all over the place, got a pet dog, met a very nice girl (actually met her at the park while walking my new dog), and then I married her (not immediately; we dated for a year first, then started living together in my house, and then married). I was ready for something serious after I made my life stable and no longer nomadic. Besides that I had saved up enough money to afford the house and afford raising a family.

I, like many other men only find this information after being trashed in relationships by women who called themselves the "good" women who claimed to want a "good" man. I'm guessing he had a name role model who showed him that being everything a woman wants is the way to hell cos she is less likely to respect you. Better to do what you're doing and women will want to join YOUR ride if they are attracted to you. I have to say, it is true from my experience. Then we learn as men that we are the prize and to give away our time and attention for no good reason makes us a valueless commodity. What woman wants a man she can call all the time or who isn't being paid by others, unless she is insecure that she can't compete? Women are competitive against each other so why should a man chase a woman who is not really showing him interest or moving how he would like his one and only to move? Doesn't make sense.

@Shadi I think it's the "fault" of both and the shape of society. For instance, dating is basically ruined and here is why. A man who is viewed as a 10/10 in terms of his looks WILL sleep with an average looking woman, say a 5 or 6. It will only be sex maybe regular sex. The average looking girl now thinks she deserves guys who look like him all the time and now ignores even men who are up to 8/10. Men of her own standing simply don't exist anymore and she is now living in a delusion. Disaster! This happens because a man will date down, but a woman practically never will. If you don't look up to us you will not respect us. It's as simple as that! This feeds into why a decent man needs to wait for a woman to actually qualify, not verbally qualify herself with such nonsense as "I am the table". Women control sex! Men control relationships! If you, referring to yourself as a decent woman, give away too much sex to too many men and your perceived and actual value diminishes. If a man who perceived himself as a decent man gives away his time, attention and exclusivity to a woman too easily and she won't respect and will probably mess him over. You just have to ask your friends. Just listen to the women and what they say. Check other sites where they ask women. They always tell on themselves. A man's real super power is to learn to really listen to a woman and read between the lines of what is claimed and what is real.

She can be left with the entire responsibility, therefore she needs to take it as her responsibility. It would be extremely unwise to take it any other way. I'm not talking about a relationship, I'm talking about when a man and woman come together to have sex: 90% of the most effective contraceptives are made for women, so how can it ever be the responsibility of the man? You can think like that, but if he disappeared it would be all on you. Now we have some women who have children from several men and still calling themselves the prize! The ages of these people is a problem. If a woman who is ready to settle down, probably around 25 yrs, she should find a man who is ready to settle down probably around 35 yrs. But if these women are dating men around the same age then no wonder they are frustrated because most men at 25 yrs are not ready to settle down yet. So if women are waiting into their late 30's for the men of the same age to get ready for commitment, no wonder they feel they are running out of time. That's why generally its advisable for men to marry younger women and women to marry older men. After all women mature faster than men. Problem solved.
