I definitely noticed with one of my cats that he had different meows for different things. He had this trill he would use with my female cat, who he wanted to be his mother (she wasn't having it), one when he was being affectionate with us people... The most distinctive one was when he'd caught something and was bringing it to us; it was a deeper sound. I picked up on that one without really meaning to; I just what he'd done just by hearing it. Oh, also, my first cat was mute, I think. He'd make a sound like "mmat," but it was very soft.

Our two (adult) cats are very vocal and meow a lot. At first it concerned us and we asked the vet if everything was okay and if they were healthy. He said they're good and healthy, they just want to talk to you. =)

what happens if you meow at a stray cat and then it was finding where the sound is and it knows its you and then it just follows you (not really but i was with my brother) i live in an apartment and there were rails like beside me and the cat was down there (no train rails stair rails) staring at me so we decide to turn right where the elevator is and then my brother pushed the button and then i saw the cat run real fast and it was finding for me?? idk so the cat went like 5 meters and then i got scared...the cat was still finding for me cause i heard a meow when the elevator door was about to close..

Please start posting new videos again. Especially for cat care, diseases, behavior and play. I recently took in a stray cat who behaves far differently than previous cats I’ve had as I raised them from kittens and this little guy is 4 years old. Lots of vocalization, and impromptu biting and scratching. He’s a sweet cat, but these are behaviors my other cats never developed. He is also FIV positive and I’d like to learn more about his care needs with this disease so he can live a long and healthy life. No symptoms at this time but it’s about prevention. Thank you!

My cat meows 1 extra time for every meow. Its very strange, i watched him for a while, if he meows twice at a single time, than he will meow a total of 4 times. I call it double meows

my male cat is meowing endlessly this days by the door. you know from the door we go out. and by body language it seems like telling me it wants to go out. and also climbs up my body and settles down in my arms and constantly meowing.. i seriously dnt know wht to do. if i let him go out he just enters other peoples house.. it could cause problm so i nvr let him out. also i seem to not understand wht he wants.... hes appetite seems dull lately too... other than that he seems ok. in the morning he seems to like sleeping beside me. over me. while im stiil sleeping. like normal. so i try to play to with him at the time when he meows.. but after some time he keeps doing it.. i honestly dont know what to do at this rate.
