Why Does Pre-Ordering SUCK??

Had similar experiences. I prefer ordering on Amazon because I can buy Amazon gift cards to pay for my stuff instead of using my credit or debit card. It like a preorder isn’t even a guarantee you’ll get the item. The whole reason most of us have to buy online is because of poor distribution and exclusives. Definitely a factor that takes the fun out of the hobby. I’m glad I’m to a point that I have what I’m happy with to represent my fandoms. If I want to swap it with something new, at least being content won’t make me give I. To FOMO.

I’m just about there with my DC Multiverse collection where I have about all the characters and variants I am looking for. There are around 10 that I have to have if announced though :)

I often pre order through Amazon only to find that same figure in stock at GameStop weeks before it's scheduled to ship. I purchased a GameStop pro membership for $25.00 which gives me $5.00 a month off store purchases. Much less expensive all around, the pro membership pays for it's self.

I did the GameStop membership a couple of years ago and wound up buying several figures that way. It really is a good deal!

Oh . I CLD write a BOOK on what's messed uP w preorderS! So..I just don't do em. Oh! That drives me crazy!!!! When others get the Toys way WAY earlier! Even 2mos. At some time. (Oh .I've gotten many deliveries at 8-10 pm..) So? I either find who has it early!(POPOLOCO toys...is great for that. And..the 'Toy Snowman' So. Yessir. I hear YOU loud and clear. And.YUP! Nothing worse..than having a item on Pre..and? Seeing em in store elsewhere. Ty..for saying what I'm always thinking!😁 Bravo 👏👏👏

Thank you for the kind comments. I appreciate that! I feel like I am always preordering so I don’t miss out and I still miss out anyway. I think I will just wait until it hits stores from now on.

I hear ya. I'm still waiting on the Killer Croc glow in the dark and the camo tumbler I preorder off Amazon back in May! I'm still kind of hopeful I'll get one since they haven't cancelled it...yet.

That camo tumbler is going to be sweet! I wanted it but was just completely out of room. I can hold maybe one more vehicle and I have heard rumors they will make an 89 batwing so I am holding out.

Hello. First time here. Your video popped up in my feed. My Amazon orders either get pushed back or canceled almost every time for McFarlane figures. While on the other hand, I often get McFarlane figures directly from them before reviews start popping up. I recently got Darkseid so early I didn't know if the problem with the arms popping off was QC or a design issue on everyone's because there were no reviews for over a week.

Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you found the channel! Sounds like you have the same problems I do with Amazon. I have had one smooth transaction with the McFarlane store directly but the others have been delayed. That Darkseid shipment was very quick and I wonder how close you are to the distribution center? I collect WWE figures and occasionally, I will order something off of Amazon and that same thing has happened several times. It will say arriving today by 10 PM when it hasn’t even shipped . It’s super annoying, especially when it’s an Amazon exclusive, and you’ve already been waiting for several months.

I don’t even understand how they can tell you they are going to get something to you by 10pm when they obviously don’t even have it in their warehouse. It’s crazy to me how the whole system operates.
