No pretension, attitude or ink to distract from her art, not to mention the relaxed intelligence of her performances and the awed disbelief of a non-drummer watching one who is able to coordinate the disparate abilities of the body into a masterful flow of expression. Simply said, her performances are pure sonic and visual enjoyment. You asked😊

That’s a good question, Mike. But for me, it’s simple, she reminds me of someone from the 70s 80s. She plays the music with such passion and concentration and, her talent is perfection. She doesn’t need all that make up, sexy outfits and, twirling the sticks gimmicks. Sina is a down to earth and caring person. I can attest to that after meeting her in person. I’m sure her parents and family and friends had a lot to do with that. I will always be a Sina fan until the day I die. Thanks, Mike.❤☮️USA

Watching Sina's technique and expression in the well-produced videos is as important as listening to the music is! It's the little things in the body language, that irresistable smile at the end of a well-played piece, a drummer who isn't hidden in the background but actually in the spotlight. The recording is quite refined too! And she's just a great drummer, worthy of all the views, that's for sure. With every piece it's obvious Sina doesn't just want to deliver a perfect copy of the original but actually add her own unique flavour to it.

I would sum up Sina this way… 1) Raw talent, later refined over and over. 2) always showing great respect for the original artist or band. 3) Directed power and conditioning. 4) Incredible audio mixing from day one with the drums just slightly out front. 5) A dedication to let her talent and abilities speak for her, rather than drawing attention to her personal life. 6) And finally... A personal drive to just make great music.

Sina brings pure music. No hype. No fluff. No showy flailing of her arms. All honorable respect for the original artist. I watch as much as I listen. By watching Sina I learned tremendously about subtleties in play that bring nuances to the music that I hadn't noticed before. Sina has her own style, and her original music is astounding. It is her massive respect for the original musicians and their style that impresses me most.

I got lost. After countless clicks I landed on Sina's channel. And I'm thrilled. All my music. All my vinyls. Even Boston. Deep Purple. All the good old stuff. Freshly played by the next generation. And finally I can see what the cool drummers are doing behind their machines. And I can finally hear it better. A beautiful place here. Now I'm 55. And in a few months I'll buy myself a drum kit - no, I can't play. Not yet. Maybe never as well as Sina - but I feel like starting something new. I'm staying here. Thanks for the inspiration!

That was fun. The nice thing about side by side comparisons is that Sina (🥰🥰❕) doesn't always play exactly like the original. As any artist should. Which makes the classic new again. I, too, add fills or slightly different beats from the original. Why?? Simple, I'm playing it. Not the original drummer. That, and she's just so damn talented!! Great stuff! Everyone be safe, over there. ⚘🙏✌

I first came across Sina back in spring of 2020. Was going through a "mental funk" during that time due to the pandemic. Watching Sina (and other similar content creators) helped me get out of that funk. What I like about her is that for someone so young (I've also gone back to watch her beginning videos), she has a love for classic rock. I'm not one to go back and re-watch (re-listen) to her playlists or use them as background music, though I could very easily. (95% of what she covers I'm already a fan of.) Whether it's you or her, I enjoy her craft and look forward to the videos!

I think it is a combination of many reasons. From her really great talents to your talents being added, to other people's talents being added. For people wanting to see how the music and songs are done, and how the drums and other instruments are played. How there is all different angles, so they can get a really good idea on how it is done. People were waiting for the younger generation to keep this style of music alive and going. Now I will add in Sina personality, with how she works to introduce and promote other musicians. How Sina is down to earth, humble, modest, sweet, loving, kind, caring, polite, respectful, thankful, hardworking, and dedicated.

Because she ROCKS! And the eclectic selection of covers is perfect, more than forty years of intense creativity. And the originals are superb (Neytiri, Downstream, Summer Salsa, ...). And the way Mike films from different angles allowing us to better understand the complex work of a drummer. I get in touch with the rhythm when I see Sina play. An insight into how much work it is to play the drums. Sina's videos are unique. They bring us close to the way of playing drums. I can watch his movements over the drums in, for example the end of Iron man many many times. I never tire of to see how extremely difficult it is to be able to play with both feet and both arms simultaneously and then with four different movements!!

This video title seems to ask a simple question. The answer is equally simple to me since the answer is that Sina's remarkable talent in combination with her videos show how intense and complex it really is to to play the drums. This was a huge eye opener for me since I have never given much thought regarding drummers for over three decades. I was so wrong that, for decades, I never realized how important really good drummers are for any band. I could describe how Sina's videos have helped me while I am still recovering from a pretty bad stroke, but that is another thing. So Sina. How about that. You unexpectedly affect and help people in ways that I figure that you have never imagined to be possible. Thank you.

I was going to suggest something similar, something I've heard often from others who follow Sina Drums. Sina's performances sound more live, as if you were front row at a concert. That may be due to a more extended range, in both high and low ends, better noise and microphonics suppression and other advances in music production equipment. But more importantly, Sina's demonstrative ability to play the works of other bands so perfectly adds a whole new dimension to every song. The best example of this is the Black Sabbath track. In the original, the drums are a bit washed out but when Sina plays the same track, the song comes alive with full tonal quality.
@KeithB4172 ай бұрын
I suspect the answer will be up to the individual listener. My Take: Some of all of the things you and other commenters have mentioned. Sina has talent. What does that mean? She has an aptitude for drums/music, she developed a passion for it, she learned as much as she could about it and continues to do so, and she has practiced countless hours. Is it the way she looks? She certainly captures the look and vibe of 60's and 70's musicians. Is it because the drums were brought out front in the mix? That was genius and allowed us all to reconnect with our favorite classic rock songs in a new way. Really it comes down to this for me. Sina is music. All of the great bands of that classic era had one or more members who simply put were just music. Without them we would not have that same sound that continues to echo down the years with each generation that rediscovers what they accomplished. I've listened and watched for most of ten years now to Sina's videos. As one who went to nearly 400 concerts and festivals over 55 years, I got to hear many of the great ones live. Sina could sit at the table with all of them.

Shall I tell you something really crazy? I love to listen to Sina's music but quite often I mute the sound and simply watch her. The way her whole body moves in the rythm of the song. The elegance and (apparent) easyness of her motions. The way how she nails the song with just the necessary amount of movement by her feet and her arms fascinated me right from the beginning. There is no showing off, only a deep feeling for the music. So from time to time I simply sit and watch and then, after some time of silent watching, I turn up the sound and relish in the combination of sound and movement.

I agree with the commenters here, but want to add that people in general love a live performance. If it's a classic hit song they love it even more. In a garage band for 20 years we had a sloppy, half drunk drummer. A band is only as good as its weakest player. Sina could play in any rock band and add to their power. Her little smile when she's happy with a take makes me smile right back. Keep on rockin it, Sina. You're smoking them. Great mixing, too.
