Shreya and Palak both have voice textures completely different from Mahalaxmi, even Palak's voice can be told easily apart from Shreya's. Mahalaxmi has even a more deeper voice then them.

Mahalakshmi ji is my all time favorite Excellent Singer the only reason what I think is that her voice is very similar to Sri Kavitha Krishnamurthi ji. Even at time was so confused which one singer sang which song. Their voice was always so mesmerizing. But I don't think that she is an under rated singer ever. She has very unique popularity and yes she won't sing all kinds of songs She is very special and has sung evergreen songs so far, indeed her voice n songs are for very special and emotional fans. She is the best and most demanding singer ever.

Shreya is far more versatile than Mahalaxmi. Just because a singer is underrated, doesn't mean that a gifted and celebrated singer like Shreya should be treated as overrated. There's a reason why Shreya is given the top position amongst best female singers alive today, and that is because of her technical finesse as a singer.

Just because Mahalaxmi is underrated doesn't make Shreya overrated. Mahalaxmi's voice lacks the technical finesse and impeccable breath control that Shreya has, and all a person has to do is hear Mahalaxmi's live singing compared to Shreya's to be able to see the stark difference that Mahalaxmi's vocal strength and projection is far weaker than Shreya's. Mahalaxmi can't reach or hold high notes whilst simultaneously combining with detailed inflections which Shreya has demonstrated several times with ease. Shreya can easily deliver the vocal performances of Mahalaxmi and nail them, but same cannot be achieved by Mahalaxmi.

Not even 40% same. You've clearly not listened to enough of the live performances of both singers to come to that conclusion. Mahalaxmi's voice is far deep and almost breathy compared to Shreya's voice. Mahalaxmi also has far weaker vocal abilities and weaker voice projection compared to Shreya.
