I don’t think you should fear your parents as a 10 year old sure you don’t always understand why they aren’t allowing you to do whatever you want but when you’re a teenager you begin to understand why your parents don’t allow you to do whatever you want. If you’re a teenager and you fear your parents like you fear police then you got to ask yourself and your parents why they are content with your fear. I don’t fear god and if he wants to have a relationship with me he shouldn’t expect me to fear him. I am not afraid of what he can do. Love and fear are opposing thing’s fear comes from chaos and disorder while love comes from peace and harmony. I would say both are polar opposites. Fear and hate are negative emotions. Love is a positive emotion. Fear and hate typically go hand in hand. When you fear something, you tend to hate that thing as well.

@@BrentLeVasseur yes very good points, but do you love your mum and dad hopefully the answer is yes obviously depending on circumstances, and they love you but if you disobeyed them or was very naughty you would fear there punishment, but even as they would punnish you that does not change the fact that they still love you. Very good video Daniel. Very well explained. Great choices of verses. Too many so-called Christian unfortunately keep sinning because they rely on God's love and forgiveness but they forget that God is also righteous and give judgement. Our relationship with the Most High is exactly like a father and child relationship. He loves us and we love him but if we misbehave there will.be chastisement or punishment in order to correct us. Brothers and sisters, I know that sometimes we succumb to sins. But let us not be complacent. Walk after the Spirit and resist the flesh. For many of us it is a daily struggle, a daily fight but we must do all we can to avoid sins.Through prayers, study of the Bible and by worship in Spirit and truth we can slowly but surely overcome. For some it is easier than others but we can all improve. Beside, we are victorious thought Christ Jesus. Be blessed brethren.

That is so so true that not many churches preached that anymore as they soft serve the Word and bring God down to their level of entertainment… He loves us so much as to die on the cross so we need to love, fear and respect Him as our Heavenly Father. When we realise the power of the cross and what it took for Christ to die for our sins we would have an even more longing to live a life that is pleasing unto Him. We should fear to disobey God. “Perfect love drives out fear” but who has perfect love for God? For what does God say is love towards Him? Obedience. For Jesus says “If you love Me you will obey what I command.” Who here obeys Christ perfectly so that they don’t have to fear? “Do not fear those who can destroy the body only, rather fear God Who can destroy both body and soul in hell.” Matthew 10:28. Whoever sins needs to fear God- and this is written to Christians, not to the worldly.

I just say the truth as I see it in scripture… Busy or not, every person has had a moment to think whether or not there is a God. And the Bible says every creature knows the Creator, unless they suppress it, and are therefore without excuse. (Romans 1:18-21). 1 John 5:13 says that these things are written to believers so that they can know whether or not they have eternal life- the Bible is not written to unbelievers.And 1 Peter 4:18 says that it is difficult for even the righteous to be saved, so what hope do ungodly sinners have? They have no hope at all.

And he does not wish for anyone to perish but to have everlasting life.
