The simple truth is the present capitalist economy needs you to over-work so that it can continue to grow its profits at the same pace as before. Everyone, from white collar office jobs to people working in factories are overworked. The maximum pressure to generate sales, targets, and profits are on the employees. Yet they are the first ones to get thrown out for ‘cost cutting’. On one hand unemployment is at its highest, and on the other the employed are stressed out with overwork. Looks like the system has reached a breakdown!

Minimum and maximum wages should be fixed . The government doesn't fill vacancies due to expenses on it and due to it increases the work pressure.

Unethical over work schedules cater to: (1) Keeping masses in control- over worked and often underpaid (2) Corporate might think they are maximizing profits but it’s much like the real world scenario where cheap labor has produced clothing enough for next 6 generations via over work and less pay but the productivity has only hurt the planet health, human health and eventually it will hurt company profits too because the very workers that are part of their consumer base have less and less spending power due to low wages. So in a nutshell it’s a short sighted approach led by greed that eventually hurts all.

The challenge with Indian work culture is that employers seek for availability, whether there is actual work. Sometimes it’s required because we don’t have high efficient resources and time availability is used to compensate that. White collar employees working 9-6 are not always working unless they are direct customer facing.

Uper se government b.ed karne ka pressure deti hai. B.ed me Rs150000 lagta hai. Kye itna paisa kharch kar ke 10000 ka job kare.
