WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO US?!

We've been trying to keep this family vacation a secret but it's hard to hide when this always happens to us right before we go on vacation!!
Why do we get sick before a vacation? Is there a scientific explanation for pre-vacation sickness? Is it mental? Is it faking sick to skip school before vacation? I don't think there's any faking sick on vacation so whatever it is we hope to beat it fast before we leave for family travel.
