WHY DOES THIS STILL EXIST? The elusive 1975 Plymouth Fury Coupe

This is the rare and misunderstood red headed step child of the B bodies. It’s a 1975 Plymouth Fury. What makes this car so special is that it actually still exists. Most of these Fury’s rotted into the ground after being daily driven even in the driest of climates. Nonetheless enjoy and observe one of a handful of the last surviving clean Fury coupes of the mid 70’s.

About 20 years ago, every morning I'd see a Dodge Coronet coupe, which is the same car. It was driven by an older lady, with a cigarette dangling from her lips and the windows closed. The car was in really nice condition but probably smelled so bad inside it. You are correct that there is no interchangeable body panels with the Cordoba/ Charger SE. Where in Jersey? I'm in Freehold Township.

I once owned a 77 Monaco two door which was very similar to this Fury. It was bright red with a white vinyl top. It was a good, comfortable and solid driver. I've always wondered what happened to it.

Pretty cool car, another thing that saved this car too from his death Is somebody ripped at vinyl top off , Because that roof will be going by now , which is another reason why I never liked vinyl top on cars !! Because those vinyl tops trap water and moisture , which causes the roof too completely rust out , So good job on a saving her this Plymouth Fury 2door Car 🇺🇸🇺🇸😃😃💪💪👍👍👍👍

My first car was a brown 4 door '75 Fury Custom. 318. Nothing fancy but it got me around. I owned mine in '89-'90, haven't seen one since. Maybe 2 two door versions, that's about it.

I had a 75 Sport Fury. Silver with a burgundy vinyl top. It was a good running car. Smooth and comfortable. It was no race car with the 318 two barrell, but it ran ok for what it was. It was basically the same car as a Dodge Charger or Chrysler Cordoba.

We had a golden brown (Aztec Gold Metallic) one with vinyl seats and a 318 that that my family bought new. We called it the Cow. Parents junked it in 1986 to buy a Dodge Caravan just before I got my permit so I never got to drive it. Wish I had it now.
