I was working at this one house in Boyertown and every time it rained there were three or four locations in the basement where water would shoot up out through the basement floor 6 to 8 inches high!! That house was a whole bunch of nope, like you like to say😂😂😂 the amount of screw ups that went on there were monumental!

Neighbor, had water in his basement often for years, they even lived and slept down there. Probably mold and god knows what else. He never said a word about it. Sells, but uses my airless before leaving (I assume to paint over all the mold) New neighbors move in, couple girls too by the way. Instantly they figured out the neighbors two car garage roof with no gutter was dumping all the rain in there backyard causing the flooding. Literally figured it out on day one. Split the gutter cost on neighbors garage and solved the problem. Apparently, some people are absolutely useless, no idea how he ignored that or couldn't figure it out.

“Little Cottage” 😂 they will need to hire you when they get their summer house.

One thing they could do is put a sump pump outside along the foundation and pump it away before it goes in the basement.

Right there at 2:05, why is that trapped? I've never seen a trap except right beside a drain or HVAC condensate clean out.

It is odd. Maybe it’s a code thing when a septic system is in use. The bad part for me is why are the cisterns for the rain water and toilet shared? The underside of the slab will fill up with shit. He mentioned it but seems like that should be an enclosed separate tank period unless it’s in case the ejector pump pukes, but seems like there could be better ways to handle that.

Simply put your basement is under your house not above your house.
