Especially for the industry standard at the moment - asides from Kendrick, Cole and A$AP most radio rappers have terrible bars (i.e. the mumble rappers or rappers who rely on trap). Logic has frustrated me so much in recent years, I know he’s capable of creating incredible music, and who knows what he’ll release in the future, but ever since The Incredible True Story he’s gotten way too comfortable and hasn’t evolved at all. Too many people have only heard his most recent music and its a poor first impression compared to what he’s shown he can do in the past. His lyrical content has stagnated and he’s not challenging himself anymore. I fuck with Logic he's talented. There are things that have kept him from becoming "my favorite rapper's favorite rapper" like Em or Pac etc. 1. Lyrical hip hop is about the voice in the same way metal shred is about the guitar tone. Logic's voice always sounds a little thin. A little mousey. It just doesn't cut into you the way Em, Pac, Biggie, Kendrick, Joyner etc does. Could be a production problem, or it could just be him at his peak and it is what it is. If you don't have a distinctive, interesting, attention grabbing voice; it's an uphill battle. 2. The final few points of this video summed up his lack of an identity he makes a stand on pretty well. 3. Logic drops some frankly whack verses at times. His verse on "Caterpillar" was one of the worst I've ever heard in my life. I could hand a mic to a 70 year old lady on the street and tell her to rap. I'd expect roughly the same level of lyrical content. I feel a sense of embarrassment listening to that. Conclusion: he needs a producer who can punch up his vocal tone and find what it is he really stands for and be all about it. The occasional shitty verse will happen. The first two points will help paper over that.

I love NF and Eminem but they’re styles are very different. I respect both but Eminem is respected more for his crazy diss tracks, and just his amazing lyrics. He’s been around for so long and is unstoppable. He’s someone NF was influenced by and for that he is also really good. BUT he is not the real slim shady

I would say logic is more of a 'nerdy' rapper he is like a young boy who loves video games, movies and and fighting, tv shows meaning he is more adaptable to less 'cool' than eminem which isnt necessarily a bad thing. He like other artists e.g 'lil dicky' have taken a different approach to hip hop in general. thats all. Also YSIV has its bangers. Underpressure and TITS still his best work tho.

Eminem is GOAT not only for his rap skills and music. He is the GOAT because of how he changed the rap game itself making it better and entertaining that even kids listen to him back in the day. With the amount of criticism he got and the life he had gone through , he still carried on showing that he doesn't care. His music are known to be a piece of Art. Each Rapper is unique but no one can be compared to Eminem/Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers. Point done
