I used to sit in your 6th grade science & social studies class amazed, almost graduating now, somehow ended up on youtube watching your videos for hours.

Just excellent: clear, brisk, and with a judicious amount and choice of detail. Thank you.

Thank You for an explanation I didn’t know I needed… I wondered why everyone here in Nola always headed eastward to find beaches to visit…

The state of MS. brought our sand in. Our beaches still aren't very nice because we have our outer barrier islands. Dauphin Island AL.( a barrier Island you can drive to) is the closest, sweetest and most beautiful beach/vacation area from Louisiana.👍

Interesting! Broussard/Cameron Beach is between Holly Beach and Rutherford Beach. Nice area.

Texas most definitely does not have white beaches near Galveston. It’s why we drive to gulf shore or Pensacola every summer lol

100% true; I was just exaggerating for effect, of course. Our worst is a state park in the middle of a marsh that when you step off of the manmade sand beach, you're up to your calves in marsh mud.

Greetings from the BIG SKY. I'd bet it's the Mississippi River's fault for using all of the Montana dirt to make your mud.

Grand Isle Louisiana has the longest natural beach in the continental United States...
