Psychiatric study’s aim is to find the correlation between mind, emotions, hormones and other abstract things of a human to physiological body which is the gross body. So sir are either you are too much of an educated person to not even see Psychological studies as science or you have no idea of whatsoever of how broad scientific studies are like crypto-biology, Astro-biologist, etc this are fields of science where there is not even the specimen to research on. I also remember one History TV program covering all the reincarnation stories told by some individuals who had dreams of their past life mentioning every events in clear detail. There was this kid, 5 or 6 year old who always went saying to his parents that he had nightmares about being in WW2 and he was a pilot or something and remembers all those horrific black impact smokes in the sky plus he also remembered the fighter jet's production number, his past name, the conversations he had with his co pilot and slowly going down after being hit over and over again. I truly agree with you. Some things need belief, some things need evidence. I have seen many KZbinrs who ask for evidences for many religious things. They call it pseudoscience. I feel some kind of knowledge needs research like ayurveda. There are many startup’s in India who don’t get funding from investors because the natural ingredients they use are not proven or researched well. I think some studies should be kept separate and should be dependent on beliefs. But I think research is needed on many relevant areas and make those knowledge acceptable as modern world only needs evidences..

I wouldn't think much about these things earlier but it's hard to shake off the gut feeling of what you feel is true. I had learnt meditation from art of living eternity process. Sometimes when deep in meditation, I have memories of what seem like past lives but it's brief and hard to check. Sometimes I do have dreams of what will happen and it does like deja vu. Science is all about if we can prove or disprove but some things can't be explained. It's upto us to believe or not.

I was a borderline atheist/agnostic but a few things happened to me and I'm now convinced that something is out there for sure. I mean that "something" is certainly like a person who's looking after you. But those are all my personal experiences and I can't prove them to anyone, however I know my experience is true and valid and I thought of all the possibilities that can come up (placebo effect/hallucinations etc.) it's none of that. I know my stuff is real and while no one will believe it, no one can take it away from me either. It also happens that I'm not alone in this world to have such experiences and there are those who have had it 10x more intense than me. Not everything can be explained on the basis of science and honestly to me now this "pure science" thingy seems useless. I'm happy with the applied science and not being into too much of philosophical discourses given by people like stephen hawking. It's all christianism embedded into science and math. Thanks to C K Raju I understood why mathematics was so difficult for me. These eminent scientists have turned the "physics" and stuff into a religion. Also I think that I was a hippie in my last life, I'm not exactly sure but this possibility seems most valid based on my self reflection and deduction

The idea I have gathered is that one of two identical twins raised and trained together can yet possess differential abilities in the same area of interest. 1) the identical twins don't have identical genes. there's always (not noticeable by appearance) differences in DNAs. 2) the nurture you are talking about can never be experimentally identical. the air they breath, the speed at which they walk, how long do they brush their teeth will eventually turn into huge difference in their life outcomes, also, outside world will apply pressure on your experiment to randomly choose one over other. imagine a scenario there's a cycle race and only one can pass through a portion of narrow track. by rule, someone will go ahead by slightest chance, randomness, or some factors affecting them.

I can try to connect it with physics. We study in physics that everything is made up of waves and particles. When somebody dies , its particle nature i.e. dead body is visible but waves i.e. soul is not visible. Soul or Aatma is sum of all energy available in the body, in atoms , molecules , electrons , quarks , etc. I haven't read it anywhere , just gave my own idea of AATMA.

For a particle like us ,wave factor is negligible (as wavelength inversely proportional to mass). Even after that you need to prove how our action is related to our wave . I would to comment on one thing that you said "science has limitations", now for this, people say that there are many things that science cant, and undoubtly this is absolutely true we do not have a scientific explanation for everything happening around. But actually there is a scientific explanation for that its just that we dont know it, like thousands of years ago humans did not know the reason for lighting during thunderstorms but now we do the reason for it, earlier we also did not know the reason for the phases of moon but now we do know it, but does it mean that it wasnt a part of science until we discovered it. of course not, it was just that we did not know it, it was still a part of science, just like that science has an explanation for everything its just that we dont know it, and that's also the reason why science is discovered not invented

Sir, let us suppose, we have to prove the proposition that a phenomenon “R” exists. If we provide even a single example which no one is able to rebut or is irrefutable by its overwhelming accuracy that “R” has existed, is it not a sufficient proof that the phenomenon “R”, although in exception, actually exists. There have been thousands of cases or are thousands of cases which have reflected overwhelming accuracy of Rebirth recollection which no one could prove otherwise. So are they, although I would choose to call them aberrations, not sufficient evidence that rebirth exists, be it in the form of exceptions or aberrations. The limitation of science is that it is applicable only to the MATERIAL world. Soul/atma is non-material ie spirit, thus it is not measurable by using material technology. To experience Paramatma (‘God’) requires a compatible non-material instrument. The only such one is the soul of humans which, in the state of yogic samadhi, can experience (‘measure’) God. Science and scientists are irrelevant here. The commensurate scientists here are spiritual scientists which in India have been known, since antiquity, as adept YOGIs.

Not sure if whatever was said in the video holds metal. So in science there is a concept of statistical significance. When one incidence is observed enough number of times and can be examined to check if occurrence is authentic, then we can say that data in favor of the phenomenon of rebirth is statistically significant. Then comes the part of authenticity. Enough research has been done where few children end up speaking and writing languages that were actually extinct. In comments may have rightly pointed out certain books. Having said all this, Rajiv Malhotra has also spoken on this topic. There seems to be a christian bias and then an atheist bias. Proving rebirth would actually stregthen the stand point for Hinduism and Vedic Principles. Athiest scientists have conformation bias against it.
