I have a railroad screw spike that made by Lewis bolt they look like stainless steel it’s called the evergrip

Interesting. Can always do a test with a magnet to see if it is steel, or stainless.

It is not. It's a different material and much, much stronger.

Titanium is an element! Like carbon or iron. There are also Titanium alloys.
