I will be getting this instead of tinting the glass. This way I can get full clear view through the glass when it isn't insanely hot and in the evening. No, I don't look up much while driving, but I do sometimes.

Thanks for this informative install video for the motorized Sun Roof Cover. So far I don't need this kind of protection for my Tesla model Y does not get that warm in my daily driving. But it is nice to know that something like this is available. Thanks again and take care.

In my Model Y it gets very warm (40 Celsius+) if I have it parked outside during the day. Through the app however, you can setup overheat protection (will vent the windows and or turn on the A/C). While driving I do feel the glass heating up the cabin on a sunny day sort of like a greenhouse effect. Will order/install this product and let you know if it helps!

I don't own this product, but in the research I've done a few people have mentioned it does rattle. That and the price are the 2 main reasons I haven't ordered one.

Please be careful everyone. I have purchased the retractable sun shades from Hansshow. A little after a year, it's making noise when I close it. Hansshow told me to uninstall and take the motor out to test it. It still making noise. Also I got a Real Carbon Fiber Spoiler. After 14 months it's starting face out . I wish I can show everyone the photo to see how bad they are.

It’s not the brake light. It was from the 12 volt cigarette lighter located in the rear of the Tesla

Not justifying it, but I believe another person added some foam strips with double sided adhesive to certain areas and it got rid of the rattles. I could be wrong tho

Warrantys cant be voided if u didnt mess with that specific item. So if u alter the frunk it cant void the whole car, but lets say u made the frunk able to be controlled via screen mod and it broke the frunk clip (just an ex) u did void that specific repair

The fact that we have to install such things is dumb. Why can Tesla include this things? Installation is easy but what I am worried about is the noises it might make around the edges of the clips if it’s not good quality build.

@4:00 look at the edge on the driver side towards the back. Why is it wiggly looking. I was about to order it but saw that and i eo t install anything that looks that bad.
