I’m Vietnamese and I don’t understand what she said, but it seems that she was talking about our language. Very impressive! I’ve already hit the like button. ❤

Yes she is talking about Vietnam language and why there is no Vietnam alphabet? Why Vietnam use English alphabet to create their own languages.

@@patteerarichards7348 thank you so much ❤️ Viet Nam actually has its own language called Chữ Nôm, but it associated with the Latin alphabet later and Now we use that instead of Chữ Nôm. It 's offically called Chữ Quốc Ngữ - the language that we use nowadays.

Even Thai writing are not Thai writing but loan from Cambodian whom the Cambodian loans it from the indian 😅 only china - Korea - Japan - India - Persian - Arab and few other language in Asia use it own writing system , majority are loans from those system or use alphabet
It's great, at least foreigners coming to Vietnam can pronounce street names and address names, and Vietnamese people traveling abroad can also easily pronounce Latin letters.
@@PNB_OK In the past, Vietnamese people used Chinese characters and then Nom characters, similar to Japanese and Korean characters today, but it was really inconvenient. I know the Chinese, Japanese and Koreans tried to Latinize their writing but it didn't really work. When writing is latinized, Vietnamese students will learn faster and easily use electronic devices.

@@viethavn I have heard Vietnamese people speak English. I found their accent difficult to understand. Vietnamese people who speak English, their accents are very funny. Chinese and Korean people speak English well. And I don’t understand and can’t read Vietnamese even using the Latin alphabet.

@@danielfox9354Actually Chinese and Japanese people don't speak English well. lots of funny videos about foreign language classes there. Foreigners can pronounce Vietnamese without the correct pronunciation, but listeners can understand what they are trying to say
